Luxury items that value texture and atmosphere

In the world-famous city of Imabari, Ehime Prefecture, Japan, there are only three remaining vintage French looms that are impossible to mass-produce even for skilled craftsmen. The texture and atmosphere woven with a special setting are overwhelmingly authentic and have a tremendous presence that can only be seen in the real thing.
The design is an original calligraphy art created specifically for this item, inspired by "signboards from around the 1950s"!
Enjoy leisure activities such as the sea, mountains, and pools! And a new sensation lifestyle luxury item that can also be used as an interior goods has appeared.

[Why Imabari?]
Cotton pile products have become essential in our daily lives. Why has Imabari become so prosperous?
There are two main reasons for this.

[High-quality water is essential for dyeing products]
Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture, is blessed with abundant groundwater and subterranean water, which are crucial for dyeing product manufacturing and is praised for its gentle climate.
By exposing this extremely heavy metal to a low-hardness component of high-quality soft water, the fibers become soft and have a gentle finish. This allows for the expression of the greatest features of Imabari products, such as a soft texture and vibrant colors.

【Imabari is the holy land of Japanese cotton pile products】
The Imabari region was famous as a major producer of white cotton during the Edo period and it was transported to places like Osaka using ships.
In the midst of that, jacquard weaving, which was invented in France in the early 19th century, was introduced to Japan during the period of modernization and Westernization.

In Imabari, where there was already a foundation in the cotton industry, they started making cotton pile products with hand looms in 1910.
Because it is Imabari, which has gone through ups and downs, it continues to supply the highest quality products as the largest cotton pile production area in Japan, skillfully combining traditional manufacturing techniques with the latest technology. It will not give up the title of "Japan's number one cotton pile production area" to anyone.
