Match Report
The final match of the 2017 Kanto Youth (U-15) Soccer League Division 1, which was the last game of the Golden Week 3-match series, was played under clear skies and kicked off at 11:00 at "Tsukuba Academy Center".
【First Half】
The game starts moving early on.
20 seconds, the opponent's defender clears the ball and it goes over his head. It falls at the feet of Aoki who ran in, and he swings his left foot and drives it into the goal.
Fukagawa, who took the lead in a good start, had consecutive chances for corner kicks in the 3rd, 4th, and 6th minutes, but failed to score.
Afterwards, Fukagawa continued to possess the ball and took control by alternating between long balls and short passes.
At 2734 minutes, Robert shoots again from near the penalty area, but it goes over the bar.
Although they created some tense moments in Tsukuba, in the 39th minute towards the end, Kawaguchi from the left side started running behind the opponent's defender and cut inside towards the penalty area, but the cross did not connect.
The first half ends with a score of 1-0.
【Second half】
In the 5th minute of the second half, Fukagawa's Kinoshita carries the ball with a dribble through the center and takes a mid-range shot, but the goalkeeper saves it in front of the goal.
Furthermore, Sato, who received the ball on the right side in the 10th minute, brought it to the center and took a shot with his left foot, showing a good start.
However, from here on, Tsukuba's simple attack gradually takes control of the pace.
Fukagawa tries to regain the rhythm by bringing in Sasunuma, but the center is broken and the score is tied.
Afterwards, GK Kumagura made a great save from the opponent's FK pinch.
Sasanuma attacks, Sato aims for a mid-range shot but fails to score.
The opponent scored a header from a corner kick during the additional time, which seemed to be the end of the game.
It was a frustrating defeat with a dramatic ending.
This result should be seen as not a coincidence but an inevitable outcome, and I hope you will clarify the challenges and face the next match, Urawa Red Diamonds Junior Youth, in the last game of the first half.
