【Challenge to the next stage】
The 18th Tokyo Club Youth U-17 Soccer Championship of the 2017 season, which is the first match of the season, will be held at the home ground "Tokyo Gas Musashino-En Multipurpose Ground" against FC Suginami Youth.
The coach, Sato, said to the players, "We cannot become the champions of Japan unless we become the best in Tokyo. Let's play a game where each individual can challenge themselves!" as they approached this tournament as the reigning champions from the previous year.
The game started at Suginami's kickoff amidst warm sunshine and chilly wind.
《First half》
Tokyo takes control of the ball from the start and actively engages in the game.
The opening shot is at 26 seconds, Okaniwa takes a middle shot but the goalkeeper saves it in front.
Okaniwa received the ball from the left side in the center in the 4th minute, and his shot went to the left of the goal.
Suginami built a strong block in front of the penalty area, and Tokyo was unable to break through. However, in the 13th minute, Fukino took consecutive decisive shots and won a corner kick.
When Okaniwa sends this right CK to the far side, Hara competes for it and pushes the loose ball in for the opening goal.
After that, we continued to launch a variety of attacks in the opponent's territory, but we couldn't quite break through the goal.
Tokyo, who continue to attack, had Kubo receive the ball in the center and dribble up with a flash of his left foot in the 34th minute.
Score in the bottom right corner of the goal to secure an additional point.
40 minutes, Hasegawa's midfield pass was received by Hara behind the opponent's defensive line, and Arakawa connected with a shot but it did not result in a goal.
Leading 2-0 at halftime.
≪Half Time≫
Coach Sato
"Scoring is not easy. It's natural that things don't go as planned. In the midst of that, let's come up with ideas and show our quality."
《Second half》
When Yokoyama and Imamura were brought in at halftime, they accelerated the attack.
At 50 seconds into the game, YOKOYAMA received a vertical pass from Okaniwa on the right side and advanced towards the goal line. However, he couldn't find the target with his shot, even after combining with Imamura near the goal.
Tokyo, attacking the right side, entered the right penalty area with a dribble by Yokoyama in the 50th minute. He floated the ball gently and passed it to Imamura near the goal. Imamura then jumped with his right foot and volleyed the ball into the net from a difficult position, shaking the net.
In addition, in the 55th minute, Kubo dribbles in the center and the ball spills. Arakawa picks up this loose ball and scores the fourth goal from outside the penalty area with his right foot.
Afterwards, Tokyo made changes by substituting players one after another and brought variation to their attack. In the 69th minute, Yoshida received the ball inside the penalty area, turned around while carrying the opponent on his back, and scored a reverse shot.
Two minutes later, Yoshida received a pass from Okaniwa inside the penalty area, evaded the opposing defender, and struck a powerful shot with his right foot, scoring the sixth goal.
Tokyo, which does not let up its offensive, dropped a middle pass from Okaniwa to Haga, who jumped into the center after Imamura became the starting point behind the opponent's defensive line in the 76th minute, but his right-footed shot went over the frame.
The player who scored the 7th goal was Patric in the 87th minute. He received the ball from Okaniwa on the right side and passed it to Yokoyama. Yoshida, who was inside the penalty area, called the ball while drifting to the right, and he scored a hat-trick with a right-footed direct shot to the far side.
Tokyo continued to dominate the game without reducing their physical activity until the end, and won the first match of the tournament and the first match of the 2017 season with a score of 7-0.
