The 2nd Round of the 2017 J-League Youth Championship was held at the Musashino-En Multipurpose Ground, Tokyo Gas.
Coach Sato tells the players, "Let's surpass the opponents who come to win. Unexpected things may happen, but let's demonstrate our everyday abilities."
The opponent, Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo U-18, is a team that advanced to the 1st Round by winning 5-1 against Shiogama FC Youth.
The match kicked off at 15:00 amidst heavy rain pouring down due to the influence of a typhoon.

【First Half】
In the midst of many puddles on the pitch due to the rain, Tokyo utilized a lot of lofted passes and launched simple attacks from the beginning.
The first shot came at the 5th minute, Yokoyama directly aimed for the direct free kick obtained from a high position on the left side, but it was deflected by the goalkeeper.
On the contrary, in the 17th minute, our team faced a pinch when the opponent picked up a loose ball in front of our goal and took a shot, but Shinohara blocked it with his body.

After allowing a lead, Tokyo made substitutions in the 63rd minute, replacing Kobayashi (Sato) and Imamura with Shinaida and Hara.
Then, in the 74th minute, just after coming on as a substitute, Shinaida took a right corner kick and Takahashi headed it in to equalize the score at 2-2.
In addition, in the 75th minute, Tokyo launches a fierce attack as Kobayashi (Miki) replaces Kusasumi.
In the 88th minute, Yokoyama dribbled on the right side and passed to Hara in front of the goal.
Hara swings his right foot but unfortunately misses the goal to the right.
Tokyo was unable to score a goal and the game entered a 10-minute overtime.

Both teams are engaging in a back and forth battle amidst heavy rain and the beginning of strong winds.
In the extended second half, both Hara and Yoshida had scoring opportunities in front of the goal, but unfortunately they were unable to score and the match was decided by a penalty shootout.
