Q: How did you feel when you found out that you were selected to be a part of the team and accompany them for your first J-League official match?
I didn't expect to be included in the team, but when I was chosen, I was determined to be ready to play at any time.
Q: How did you feel about the different atmosphere compared to high school, such as greeting fans and supporters during the team bus arrival and warm-up?
From a young age, I watched it on TV, and the J-League stage was both a dream and a source of admiration for me. Being there myself, I was quite nervous.
Q: At what timing were you informed about the substitution?
A, at the end of the first half, while the substitute members were on the pitch kicking the ball, I was told, "Yuta, let's go from the second half!" At that moment, I didn't expect to be called so early, so I was very surprised.
Q, when entering the pitch from the touchline during substitutions, it seemed like they were confident.
A, I am often told that I am confident by various people, but I don't think so myself. I was also nervous when I stepped onto the pitch, of course.
Q: When you came out of the locker room and headed towards the pitch, what words did Ryoya OGAWA say to you?
I was told by player A Ogawa, "You can attack without being nervous." I was also told by coach Albert, "Stick to the side and when the ball comes, attack with courage." So, I kept that in mind and played.
Q, what did you feel after playing for 45 minutes on the pitch?
A, I felt that the speed, accuracy, and quality of passes were different from high school.
Q, how did it go?
A, because there were many passes coming around, I thought it would be meaningless if I didn't use my dribbling and chance-making, which are my own characteristics, in those situations. I played with the idea of taking the initiative with courage.
Q: What kind of play do you want to show when you next participate?
A, when the opportunity to play comes, I want to make plays that contribute to the team's victory. I will do my best to contribute to FC Tokyo's success.
