4/23 Iwata Match MATCH PREVIEW

The 7-match series in the congested schedule that started in April has reached its final match. It is the 5th match of the group stage of the Levain Cup. Tokyo, currently in 3rd place in the group, aims to win this match in order to secure a spot in the playoffs, targeting 2nd place or higher.

There may be a possibility of significantly changing the lineup for this match, just like in the match against Shonan Bellmare in the 4th round, as we will be playing this match with only two days of rest since the previous match (April 20th, J1 League against Nagoya). In the Shonan match, we actively used young players, such as starting Renta Higashi, who is registered as a U-18 player, and using Kashif BANGNAGANDE, who has just returned from a serious injury, in the latter part of the game. We are actively promoting young talents.

Of course, it is not a stance that it is okay not to win because young players are being used. We always strive for victory and even in the Shonan match where we fell behind in the second half, we sent young players onto the pitch one after another with the mission of catching up and turning the game around as substitution cards. Especially in tomorrow's match, it is a great opportunity to close the point gap as it is a direct confrontation between the top two teams.

It is a challenge for young players, but at the same time, it is an important opportunity for experienced players to gain valuable experience. It is important to approach the game as a professional, to show a competitive attitude for the fans and supporters through play. It is also important to demonstrate how to manage the 90 minutes and bring victory, embodying the way professionals play. They are expected to serve as role models for young players and contribute to leading the team to the playoffs.

The match against Iwata tomorrow will be a significant game in order to advance to the playoffs and to raise the future strength by actively utilizing young players.
