2024 CAMP INTERVIEW
TRAINING MATCH vs.FC RYUKYU

<Peter CKLAMOVSKI Manager>
Q, How do you evaluate the first practice match during the early stages of the camp?
A, I think we were able to show the good parts of our growth. We were able to show the elements we are trying to do, and we are taking that positively. In terms of physical activity, I think it was a game where we were able to build our physical strength. We were able to score in a good way and it was a game where we could see good signs. The players gave everything they had and were able to achieve good physical results. All we have to do now is to stretch each element of what we want to do.

Q, A total of 8 goals were born, but please tell us about the feeling of that.
A, I think it was a very good result. Even in scenes where we couldn't score, we were able to make plays that were a threat to the opponent. I think we were able to produce something very exciting. We want to continue to grow from here and become an even bigger threat. It was a good day, but I think there were many things we needed to do.

Q: What areas do you want to further improve as a team?
A, everything. I think there are also areas where our attack is growing. We want to create something more powerful and entertaining. In order to become a strong team, we also want to focus on our defense. There are many aspects to build upon, such as attack, defense, and set pieces. We have been talking about these things as a team, but it was good to score from a set piece in today's practice match.

<Yasuki KIMOTO>
Q, How was the first practice game of the season?
A, I was able to produce a good performance both in terms of condition and game content, so I'm happy about that.

Q, we were able to keep the first game without conceding a goal.
As a defender, being able to finish any game without conceding a goal gives me confidence. Everyone was focused and it was good that we were able to work hard and keep a clean sheet.

Q: What kind of momentum did you have as an individual?
A, there are still areas that need to be worked on, but I think we are making good progress as we were able to show some improvement in our ability to take the ball during camp.

<Kashif BANGNAGANDE>
Q: How was the game in retrospect?
There are many challenges as a team, but we were able to end the first practice game with a victory. In the first game, we were able to keep a clean sheet and had chances to score, but we were able to score three points and get results, which I think is a big plus. Of course, there are many areas to improve in both defense and offense, so I hope we can work on improving for the future in the remaining training camp. I think everyone has a feeling that we can improve, so I want to keep getting better and better.

Q, What part did you think needed improvement in particular?
A, There were several scenes where the timing of pressing in defense was off and the attack did not come together. Even in today's match, I think we are creating more chances compared to last season, so if we can improve, we can score more points and see it as a plus.

Q, the second goal was initiated by player Yoshifumi Kato's press.
A, in the first half of the first half, the press didn't work very well. After discussing at halftime and clarifying what to do, it became easier to press and we were able to score in the second half. It was good that we were able to fix our issues during the game.

Q: It seemed like you were playing while considering the timing and position of attacking participation since last season.
A new attacking player has joined and there are many more plays required of the side back compared to last season, so there are still many aspects that I haven't fully grasped yet. If I can grasp these aspects, I feel that my own play will expand and my possibilities will widen, so I'm having fun doing it. There are many coaches who teach positioning, so I ask a lot of questions. In today's match, I am communicating with new signing Keita ENDO and working on positioning and sharing awareness, enjoying trial and error.

<Keita ENDO>
Q: This was your first practice game since joining. Please review the game.
I felt like "I played a game after a long time". I couldn't play in Germany for a while, but I continued training on my own, so there were no physical problems. I think the team played good soccer and through today's game, we were able to see our challenges, so I want to work together with Kashif BANGNAGANDE, who plays on the same side.

Q: What was the most difficult thing during the time you were unable to play in the game?
A, since the time outside the bench continued, it was the hardest to watch the game from the stand. Even in that, after the game ended, I went to the gym and trained so that I could perform well when I had the chance. It was only one game, but it was so much fun.

Q, What was the biggest gain from playing in a game after a long time?
The most important thing is to finish without injury. We were able to score as a team, and it was good that I was able to contribute to the goal myself.

Q: Is there a sense of cooperation on the front line?
There were scenes where I scored with my individual ability, as well as scenes where I broke through with combinations and scored. I think it was good because I was able to play with high accuracy.
