Interview with Shuto OKANIWA

Q, how was the 11th day of the camp?
A, as a newcomer, everything is new to me, but I have been able to communicate with various people and deepen my relationship with the staff, which has improved the team as a whole and I also feel that I have improved a lot as an individual.

Q, how was the first day of training in Itoman? It was tough, but how is the condition?
A, the coach also mentioned that the intensity of the second camp will increase, and there will be more training focused on practical training and switching between offense and defense. I think these aspects will be the key to victory, so I believe we are able to have a great training.

Q, Albert's coaching style requires fullbacks to have multiple tasks and use their heads more often.
There are plays and decisions that should not be done, so while excluding them, it is required to break through the situation, avoid pressure, and enter more into the goal area, so I am able to work on it with awareness.

Q: What kind of play do you want to do in the practice game the day after tomorrow?
First of all, with the premise of aiming for the team's victory, I want to fulfill what I can do now, and I think it is most important to win and reflect on it. So, I want to do it with the entire team, being conscious of that.
