INTERVIEW2022.1.28

Interview with Yuki KAJIURA

Q, how do you feel about the camp so far?
A, I also participated in the camp last year, but it is quite rare to have the experience of leaving Tokyo for such a long period of time to train, so I am really enjoying it now.

Q: Does participating in a camp as a professional player feel different?
A, the way we are watched will also change, so we have to do our best not to lose to ourselves who became professionals this year. It is frustrating and absolutely unpleasant if the quality of the team decreases because of us, so the determination and responsibility in such areas are different from when we were U-18.

Q, is there anything you feel when you actually play Albert's soccer as a player?
A, I have never had the experience of being so calculated and having meetings like this. I feel that this is the world of professionals and there is so much to learn, so right now I am primarily focused on embodying the coach's football.

Q: Did you have the experience of last year's camp, and do you feel more relaxed about this year's camp?
A, on the contrary, there is less room this year. Last year, I participated in training as a U-18 player, but this year the situation and the soccer we are playing are different, so I feel that there is less room this year.

Q, is that the position you mentioned earlier as participating as a professional?
A, yes. I always have the awareness that I must have the consciousness and determination as a professional.

Q: We often hear players say "I feel mentally tired."
A, because there are many things to think about, if the judgment is delayed even a little, it will stop the flow. We have to adapt ourselves to the football that the coach thinks, so we always have to keep our heads spinning and do it.

Q: We are now at the halfway point of the camp. Do you have any goals from here?
I will try my best to appeal myself more and make a breakthrough regardless of being in my first year.
