【Player/Coach Comments】

In the 6th round, Tokyo, who accumulated their first point in the previous round, will face an away match at Iwagin Bird Stadium.

Tokyo, with GK Wado playing, and Yoshimoto as captain in the DF line, forms a combination with Okazaki.
In the midfield, as in the previous match, Sasaki and Kono took their positions at the bottom, Hiraoka on the right, and Namachi on the left, all starting in the lineup since the opening match.
The front line is composed of Lins and Insoo YU, challenging with a 4-4-2 formation.
Tottori, on the other hand, has no wins this season and will come with a strong front line consisting of Fernandinho and Kurotsu, aiming for their first victory at home.
The match between two teams aiming for their first victory started with the ball in Tottori, despite the slightly chilly weather.

【First Half】
Tokyo took the initiative from the start.
Shortly after the start, at the left touchline, Riku NOZAWA receives the ball and passes it diagonally to Ikichi running in front on the right.
The player tries to enter the PA diagonally and take a shot, but is blocked by the opponent's defender.
Tokyo, unable to grasp the flow, gradually finds itself dominated by Tottori and threatened with a goal.
Tokyo sets a high line centered around Yoshimoto, maintains a compact formation, and does not allow the ball to be easily carried to the goal.
As time continues to endure, Kono and Sasaki start to secure their own time by receiving the ball, changing the flow.
26 minutes, when the left side broke through the defense and connected with Sasaki, Sasaki aimed for the goal with a long shot but missed to the left of the frame.
Furthermore, at the 30th minute, four players, Yukino, Ikiji, Hayashi, and Nozawa, broke through the left side with their passing skills.
When the fabric is cut inside at the end, Tottori DF stops it with a foul, and gets a free kick just outside the penalty area on the left.
Kono tries to aim for it directly, but it deviates to the upper left corner of the goal.
Tokyo, who does not let up on the attack, connected four passes in the midfield in the 36th minute and entrusted them to Hiraoka on the right side and Yanagi.
When connected to Hayashi, who infiltrated into the near side of the PA, he puts in a negative cross from a deep position, but it narrowly misses.
From this flow, this time Nozawa and Ikichi approach the Tottori goal from the left side, but they are unable to score a goal as the cross does not connect in the middle.
The breakthrough that showed a coordinated attack from the side came in the 41st minute.
When Hayashi receives the ball in the center midfield, he creates space and passes it to Hiraoka on the right side. Hiraoka dribbles inside and Yagami runs on the outside. Hiraoka passes the ball to Yagami, who then crosses it with a liner-like trajectory, but it doesn't connect.
When this ball flows to the opposite side, Tokyo picks it up again and connects it to Yukino.
Yukino raises his head and shoots without hesitation, but it is saved by the GK.
If you miss the chance, the momentum will go to Tottori.
Just before the end of the first half, the opponent turned towards the front in the center of the Tokyo field and allowed a middle shot, but Yoshimoto blocked it with a brave sliding tackle.
The defense also maintains concentration and ends the first half with a 0-0 score.

【Halftime】
Coach Yasuma's comment
"We need to continue to concentrate on defense as we did in the first half. As for the attack, we need to keep pushing aggressively. Speed of transition, drive, and passion are important."

【Second half】
Tottori made one substitution in the forward position. Tokyo approached the second half without making any player substitutions.
Intense offensive and defensive battles continue in the midfield as both teams vie for control at the start, leading to heated moments.
Among them, Tokyo takes the initiative.
52 minutes, Okazaki from the DF line connects a middle pass to Hayashi who drifted to the left, and Hayashi cuts diagonally into the penalty area from the outside left with a dribble.
Pass this to Sasaki with a negative pass, and Sasaki shoots a mid-range shot that hits the bar.
Insoo YU quickly reacts to this loose ball and successfully kicks it into the net with a half-volley, shaking the net and taking the lead.
Tokyo, who has gained momentum with this, will create more opportunities.
54 minutes, Insoo YU connects a vertical pass from Yukino on the right side, and Hirayama, who took the back of the right side, deeply cuts the side and crosses, but the defender clears it and a right corner kick is awarded.
Hiraoka picks up the loose ball from this corner kick and delivers an early cross, but Yuins and Yanagi's consecutive shots are blocked by the opponent's goalkeeper's excellent defense.
Despite continuing to threaten the Tottori goal, the momentum shifted towards Tottori as they were unable to score.
However, Tokyo repeatedly throws their body to block shots.
64 minutes, when the opponent turned forward in the midfield and dribbled, they shot near the penalty area, but Yoshimoto blocked it with a sliding tackle.
Furthermore, in the 80th minute, Yoshimoto once again threw himself with a sliding tackle to block the shot from the opponent player who broke through the right side and approached the goal diagonally.
Tokyo also occasionally, when Hayashi picks up a clear ball in the center of their own field and creates space, Hiraoka launches a solo counterattack on the right side.
In the 81st minute, there was a one-on-one situation with the opposing GK, but the opposing GK made a save.
Tokyo, where the time of patience continues, is facing the front line with Hayashi and Insoo YU. Uchida, Suzuki, and Matsuoka, who came on as substitutes, are desperately holding back the opponent's attacks.
Many Tokyo supporters who rushed to the Iwagin Bird Stadium are also raising their voices desperately, fighting alongside the players.
And, after about 5 minutes of additional time, the referee blew the long whistle, and FC Tokyo U-23 achieved their first victory in the league.

Thank you very much for your passionate support for FC Tokyo U-23 today.
Thank you for your continued warm support.

[Summary of Coach Yasuma's Press Conference]
"Even though we couldn't earn points in every game, we have been practicing desperately, giving our all within the given time, and facing the matches. I am proud of the players who played aggressively until the very end. I believe in the potential of the players and I want to continue supporting them to seize the opportunity to participate in J1 in the future."
And, I would like to express my gratitude to the fans, supporters, and staff who supported us in holding the J3 matches while the J1 matches were taking place.
In the previous match, everyone fought desperately against Gamba Osaka U-23 and earned 1 point. We discussed that in order to earn 3 points, we need to run more and approach the game with more passion.
I think it was good that we were able to desperately do our best to give a victory to those who came with passion from the beginning of today's match.
There are still many players who are lacking in skills, but I think without this aspect, they will not succeed as professional soccer players, and I don't think it will be conveyed to the fans and supporters, so I want to base my efforts on this and continue to work hard as a player.

【Player Comment】
《Insoo YU》
"(What was the image of the goal scene?) It was a rebound from the shot, but I was consciously aware of that prediction and tried to aim for the ball that was bouncing, but the ball was in a good position, so I took a shot with all my might. (What was the performance after the goal?) I created a heart shape to express my gratitude to the fans and supporters who came all the way to Tottori to support us. (Looking back on the game?) We knew it would be a difficult game with several injured players. Nevertheless, everyone fought hard, and after scoring a goal, everyone's motivation to protect it showed in the game. (What do you need to do to play in J1?) There are still noticeable mistakes in various aspects, but I want to overcome my own mistakes and the team's mistakes through communication among the players. And I think it would be great if we can fight hard and achieve results, as we are currently fighting in J3 to play in J1. "
