【Player/Coach Comments】
"Sei MUROYA Player"
(It was a fantastic equalizing goal)
"I came on as a full-back when we were losing, but I entered the game with a strong focus on the attacking aspect."
"I just had to take a strong shot because a good ball came from Leandro."
(It was a very tight game, but how did you see it from the bench?)
"I felt that both teams were playing with a high intensity. The opposing team, Sapporo, also played very good soccer, but we entered the game with the intention of scoring the first goal."
(The meaning of this 1 point)
"I was able to take 1 point from Sapporo on the away ground, so I want to turn this 1 into the next connected point."
(Although the next match will also be an away game)
"We want to secure 3 points against Kashima and continue to stay close to the top."
"Yojiro TAKAHAGI"
"We conceded a goal just before the end of the first half, which made the situation difficult. However, we were able to equalize with one goal, including the substitute players, and we want to take it as a positive that we were able to earn 1 point away from home."
(Until three players entered the field in the second half, the speed of the attack did not come out. What part of the attack did not go well when looking from the midfield)
"We were pulled by the opponent's attacking power, and the back became heavy, so even if we took the ball, there was no movement to surpass, and one of the factors was that we could not connect to a thick attack."
There was a bit too much awareness of the opponent's counter, but in the second half, we were able to return one point as a result of everyone playing aggressively in both offense and defense while being in a situation of being one point behind.
(Is it because of Sapporo's good performance that we became heavy ourselves?)
"In the first half, it was more like we were being dragged by the opponent's soccer rather than playing our own soccer."
(Regarding the battle after the early substitution in the first half)
"Accidents are inevitable in any game."
I think we need to calm down at that time and communicate with each other, such as confirming our positioning and calling out to each other.
I think it is difficult for substitute players to prepare from the first half, but thanks to Abe's thorough preparation and entry, I think it led to a smooth response."
(Regarding cooperation with Joan OUMARI)
"I was able to play without any particular problems."
Joan OUMARI's strength in duels and quick covering ability were evident throughout, allowing me to play confidently in front. He also provided vocal support from behind, which was very reassuring."
"Tokyo - Summary of Coach Kenta HASEGAWA's Press Conference"
"It was a difficult game, but we managed to catch up in the end and came away with 1 point."
The first half was quite a slow-paced game, and we couldn't play the aggressive style of play that Tokyo is known for. We conceded a goal just before the end of the first half, but we managed to respond and hold on in the second half.
Despite that, the tempo didn't increase much, so we changed the members and Nagai and Muroya came in, the tempo of the game increased, and we were able to catch up in the end. There were a few chances in the final stages, and we had the thought of "if only", but in this game situation, we have to be satisfied with 1 point.
(There were many scenes where the attack was knocking)
"First of all, the ball speed on the pitch was quite different from Ajinomoto Stadium."
Also, all teams had matches with only 3 days of rest and there was also travel involved. As expected, the matches in that situation were difficult. We were able to win against Yokohama FM and Urawa Reds, and we talked about not letting our guard down, but I feel like we couldn't show our aggressiveness.
I understood that I had to go under pressure in the Kawasaki game, and that was the Yokohama FM game and the Urawa game that I was able to do.
Today, it became a situation where it was easily connected to Sapporo and the defensive switch did not turn on.
(There was also a game where the substitution strategy worked well)
"We knew that it would be an open game in the end against Sapporo. It was a plus for Tokyo to have players like Nagai and Muroya who could run until the end."
For Sapporo, it was difficult to deal with today's situation as such players did not come out in the final stage under the previous rule (3-player substitution system). It was a goal that was able to exploit that.
(The second game of the three-game series, the tempo didn't pick up easily)
"Today, I intended to use quite a few fresh players, but Joan did well from the start to the end."
Hokage also played with a rough breath. However, I feel that there was no sense of dynamism in the front line.
"Sapporo Petrovic Coach Press Conference Summary"
"Today, we were able to express the wonderful soccer of Sapporo."
Although it was disappointing to draw, I think it was the best game of the season.
In the first half, we didn't give the opponent any chances for a quick attack, and we were able to play our football.
In the second half, there were at least three chances to score. However, in soccer, it is common to be caught up in the end if you cannot score in those opportunities.
However, the players ran until the end and I am satisfied with the performance they showed. However, I am not satisfied with the result. I have very mixed feelings.
In the first home game with supporters, it ended in a draw, but I am very happy and grateful to the supporters for their support until the end.
