2016 Season First Match, Challenge the Battle with a Fresh Lineup!

A cold wave that is sweeping across Japan has also reached here in Okinawa, with a temperature of 9 degrees at Kunigami Athletics Stadium.
In the first match of the 2016 season, Wai, Yukino, Tanabe, and others started against FC Ryukyu.
And new recruit Mizunuma made his Tokyo debut.

The match starts with Ryukyu's kickoff.
2 minutes: Mizunuma, who made his Tokyo debut, runs up the right side and crosses the ball, but it is directly caught by Ryukyu goalkeeper Makoto IMANO.
13 minutes: Tanabe quickly advances to the left inside the area from the restart. He takes a shot near the touchline, but the opponent's defender blocks it. Corner kick for Tokyo.
17 minutes: Mizunuma starts a counterattack on the left side. The cross reaches Sandaza in the area, but his left-footed shot is blocked by the opposing defender.
27 minutes: Ryukyu - FK scene again. MF Tanabe's FK, aimed at the upper left corner of the goal with his left foot, was saved by the goalkeeper with a fine one-handed save!
29 minutes: Sandaza on the right side crosses aiming for Tanabe on the far side. Tanabe in the box controls the ball with a neat trap, but fails to take a shot.
39 minutes: Mizunuma, who responded to Tanabe's sharp through pass, breaks through the left side. He dribbles into the penalty area but fails to break through.

Sandaza picked up the loose ball inside the penalty area and took a shot, but the opposing GK Imakono caught it. The first half ended with both teams scoreless.

Despite an intense late exchange of blows, the match ended in a scoreless draw, earning 1 point.

The second half started with Tokyo's kickoff. Maruyama, Kono, Hiraoka, and Abe were substituted in.

52 minutes: Cross from the left side by Kawano. Hashimoto in front of the goal with a free header, but it doesn't result in a goal. 72 minutes: Change in formation to 4-4-2. Kawano and Abe form a striking duo.
79 minutes: Abe, who broke through with Kawano's pass, was fouled in the left area and a penalty kick was awarded! Abe is the kicker! However, Abe shoots low in the middle. Ryukyu GK Imano stays in the center and saves it.
90+1 minute: Ryukyu Central dribbles up from the middle and MF Tomogashi shoots from just outside the area. The ball hits the left post.
90+2 minutes: Ryukyu DF Hamada advances from the left and MF Tomogashi, who received a pass, dribbles past one player and takes a shot. The goalkeeper deflects it in front.

Despite a fierce battle towards the end, both teams were unable to score a point and the game ended in a scoreless draw. They each earned one point.
