Kosuke OTA Player Comment
"To all those who love FC Tokyo. I have decided to transfer to Nagoya Grampus. I apologize for leaving the team at this crucial point in the league."
Joining in 2012 and being able to play in the Ajinomoto Stadium wearing the blue and red uniform for six and a half years has been a great treasure in my soccer life. Every happy and frustrating moment during those six and a half years is my asset.
I am grateful to have received the utmost recognition from Tokyo, and I have both the desire to continue playing with my beloved club and teammates and the desire to challenge myself in a new environment. However, as time went on, my desire to grow as a player and to be on the pitch became stronger, and I have decided to challenge myself in a new environment.
I am proud to have been able to share invaluable time with the best fans, supporters, players, and staff. And I am grateful beyond words to the great blue and red fans and supporters who always support us players.
It was a difficult decision, but I want to apply what I learned at FC Tokyo to my future life.
Thank you very much for the past 6 and a half years.
