[6/25 Update] Handling of "2020 Season Annual Tickets"

Thank you very much for your support and encouragement for FC Tokyo.
We would like to inform you that we have decided to refund the full amount of the 2020 season annual tickets.

Due to the impact of the novel coronavirus infection, the resumption of the season is still uncertain, and we apologize for any concerns and inconvenience caused. We have been considering the handling of annual tickets in such a situation. Even if the season resumes, there is a high possibility that the matches will be held without spectators, with a different seating arrangement from usual due to restrictions on the number of attendees, limited cheering, and different stadiums used. Therefore, we have determined that we will not be able to provide the rights and services to SOCIO members as originally planned. Additionally, considering that many people have concerns about watching matches at the stadium, we have decided to provide a full refund of the annual ticket fee.

The annual ticket revenue is a very important source of income for club management, and in this decision, it was a difficult management decision in a situation where the future of club management is uncertain. In an unprecedented situation worldwide, it is painful for players and all staff involved with the club to not be able to play soccer as usual on the pitch. I believe that SOCIO, who has walked with us so far, also feels the same way. In a season where we cannot spend it like usual, we have made the above decision because we sincerely want to face it with SOCIO and continue to walk together.
We will overcome this 2020 season together with all of you at SOCIO, and continue to strive for a "strong and beloved team". We kindly ask for your continued support and encouragement.

We are currently considering the specific refund methods and will inform you again about the details of the refund methods and would like to start the refund process.
Please check below for details that have been decided at this time.
Note: The annual ticket set that has already been sent does not need to be returned. In addition, you can continue to use advance sales during home games, purchase at member prices, log in to your My Page, and record your attendance with your SOCIO card. For more details, please refer to the "Various Benefits" section below.

Dear everyone who has purchased (and paid for) the "2020 Annual Ticket"

□Refund Declination
In this situation, we have received expressions of intent to decline refunds from some individuals. Therefore, we have set up a reception form. We kindly request that you submit your request for refund declination using the form below by May 24 (Sun) 23:59.

Regarding refunds and withdrawals, they are donations to the club and are based on your kind consideration. As they may vary depending on each person's thoughts and circumstances regarding the club, we kindly ask for applications only from those who can agree with this.


Regarding refund refusal, we have added the following information in response to the frequently asked questions and requests.
If you wish to cancel your refund refusal, please contact socio@fctokyo.co.jp with the following information.

Q1. Can I enter future matches with a SOCIO card by refusing a refund?
A1. If there are matches in the future that you can attend, regardless of whether you refuse a refund or not, for the 2020 season, all SOCIO members will need to purchase tickets each time and enter with the tickets.

Q2. Are there any preferential measures such as receiving merchandise gifts or being able to obtain tickets for future matches if I decline a refund? I would like to decline a refund and be able to attend future matches.

A2. We do not plan to provide preferential measures for those who decline a refund. In the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, there are people in various circumstances, and we consider it important to treat everyone equally as SOCIO, regardless of whether they decline or not. Therefore, it is not our intention as a club to be perceived as "encouraging refunding" by creating differences, and we believe that providing preferential measures would contradict our decision and result in some people not being able to receive them due to their circumstances.
Furthermore, even if it becomes possible to watch the game, the conditions for holding such as restrictions on the number of spectators are currently undecided. It is also uncertain at this point how many seats can be secured. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

Q3. Is it possible to refund not the full amount of the annual ticket fee, but a portion of the fee for individual matches or a portion of the annual ticket fee?

A3. Regarding refunds, we can only refund the full amount of the annual ticket fee. We are extremely grateful for your desire to "give something back to the club," and we hope you can understand that this refusal of refunds is one of the means to achieve that. For the club, receiving a full refund is not only important for this matter, but it also becomes valuable income for purchasing uniforms and merchandise, joining the club support members, and purchasing tickets to attend matches after the league resumes. Since each person has their own way of supporting the club, if there is a method that you can agree with, we would be grateful if you could support us within the possible range.

Q4. Is it not possible to refuse a refund after 5/24 (Sun) 23:59 without applying for a refund refusal?

A4. After the deadline for refund refusal applications, we will send you information about the procedure for those who will be refunded as soon as preparations are complete. If you can inform us at that time that you will refuse the refund without going through the refund procedure, we will handle it as a refund refusal. However, it would be greatly appreciated if you could apply by the deadline of the 24th (Sun) for administrative reasons regarding the refund procedure.



For those who have chosen not to receive a refund (decline) for their tickets due to the impact of the novel coronavirus this time, a new system has been established where the amount will be considered as a "donation" and eligible for tax benefits (donation deduction).
The procedure for using this system for FC Tokyo's annual tickets is being processed. We will inform you of the details as soon as they are determined.

□ About Various Benefits

・We will not collect the already sent annual ticket set (including various benefits), so please receive it as it is.
(※1) We plan to sell tickets in advance to members (one week before general sales) and at member prices (reserved seats -300 yen, general admission -100 yen) for regular matches. Please note that the seating arrangement may be subject to change.
(※2) The parking permits that have already been delivered will no longer be valid. We will inform you again once the sale of future pair sheets and parking permits is determined.
(※3)Originally, the postponed match was planned to be held in a different game, but we will not be conducting the SOCIO acquaintances and friends invitation for the 2020 season.
(※4) We will inform you again when the annual ticket sales for the 2021 season are available.


□Regarding future annual ticket sales
We have ended the sale of "2020 annual tickets". We will also not be selling "2020 second half annual tickets". We apologize to those who were planning to apply and appreciate your understanding.

※If you have not yet applied for the 2019 season SOCIO and the 2020 season, your SOCIO number and years of continuity will be carried over from the 2019 season when you apply for the 2021 season.
※The reissue of SOCIO cards for the 2020 season has also ended.

About □ Club Support Members
For club support members, we are not providing membership services based on watching games, but we are sending benefits sequentially. Also, the "Home General Admission QR Ticket Exchange Voucher" will be available for use in future matches, so we do not plan to refund at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
※There is a possibility that the eligible seat type for the Home General Admission QR Ticket Exchange Ticket may change due to changes in seat allocation, etc.
※We plan to distribute U-18 merchandise benefits during home games.
※Regarding the "presentation of the Official Fan Book" benefit of the Big Frames, we plan to ship it in mid-June for those who have not yet redeemed it.

We will inform you again once the details are decided, so please wait for a while.
※The sale of "2020 Corporate Annual Tickets" has ended. We will not be selling "2020 Corporate Second Half Annual Tickets" either. We apologize to those who were planning to apply and appreciate your understanding.
