Today, the Japan Football Association (JFA) announced the cancellation of the "Takamado Cup JFA U-18 Soccer Premier League 2020".
With this decision, the "Prince Takamado Trophy JFA U-18 Soccer Premier League 2020 Final," in which the champions of the East and West leagues compete for the title of the true Japanese champion, will also be canceled.

Furthermore, in response to the cancellation, preparations are underway for the establishment of a new joint league limited to the 2020 fiscal year, in which the 20 teams of the Premier League will participate in the "Takamado Cup JFA U-18 Soccer Prince League 2020" (held in 9 regions: 88 teams).
