【Comment from "Teikyo University"】
Teikyo University was established in Hachioji, Tokyo in 1966. Initially, it started with two faculties and three departments: the Faculty of Literature, Department of Japanese Literature, Department of English Literature, and the Faculty of Economics, Department of Economics, with a total of 200 students. Over time, it has expanded its potential as a place of learning in response to the changing times. With the aim of fostering individuals who can utilize their inherent qualities to the fullest, acquire knowledge and skills, and take responsible actions, the university has set "individuality" as its educational philosophy and "practical learning," "internationality," and "openness" as its educational guidelines. In June 2016, Teikyo University celebrated its 50th anniversary, and the number of graduates who are active in various fields exceeds 150,000. Currently, the university has five campuses in Itabashi, Hachioji, Utsunomiya, Fukuoka, and Kasumigaseki, and has grown into a comprehensive university with 10 faculties, 32 departments, 11 graduate schools, and approximately 23,000 enrolled students. The university has been steadily improving its facilities to meet the needs of the new era, including the renovation of the Itabashi Campus in 2012, the opening of the Fukuoka New Campus in 2014, and the completion of a new school building at the Hachioji Campus in 2018.
We will support and cheer together with the fans, supporters, and local community through the club sponsorship agreement with FC Tokyo.
