Notice of Top Team Player's Positive Diagnosis of Novel Coronavirus Infection

We would like to inform you that one player from the top team has tested positive for the new coronavirus infection. The player underwent a PCR test on Feb 11 (Fri) and received a positive diagnosis on the same day. Currently, the player is receiving appropriate treatment and is in recovery.
Note: There are no close contacts in this case based on the activities and behavior history according to the J-League COVID-19 guidelines. In addition, on Nov 11 (Fri), PCR tests were conducted on all top team members, and we have confirmed that everyone except the player who tested positive is negative and continuing activities.

The club will further strengthen the measures against the new coronavirus infection that we have been working on so far, and once again, we will strive to disseminate and thoroughly implement infection prevention measures to all players, staff, and stakeholders.


Progress and symptoms of the player in question
There was no top team activity on Feb 10 (Thu) due to the practice being canceled. On the same day, in the afternoon, the player had a headache and fever, so a PCR test was conducted at a private testing facility on the following day, Feb 11 (Fri, holiday), and under the medical examination of the team doctor, it was confirmed positive for COVID-19. Currently, the player is undergoing appropriate treatment and recovery.
