Announcement of positive COVID-19 test results for top team players and staff

Two top team players (hereinafter referred to as Player A and B) and one top team staff member have tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection, so we would like to inform you. The three individuals underwent PCR testing on February 19 (Sat) and received positive results on the same day. They are currently undergoing appropriate measures and receiving medical treatment.
Note: There are no close contacts in this case based on the activities and behavior history in accordance with the J.League COVID-19 guidelines.

The club has been taking measures to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, such as suspending the use of certain facilities in the clubhouse (shower room, locker room). This time, the use of other facilities in the clubhouse (meeting room, training room, etc.) will be completely suspended as a general rule, and all players, staff, and stakeholders will work together to further implement infection prevention measures.
We are currently planning to hold the official matches of the top team that are scheduled in the future.

Player A
Feb 17 (Thu) No abnormalities during the day. Negative result in club's own antigen test. No abnormalities on Feb 18 (Fri). On Feb 19 (Sat), the player experienced a sore throat and a fever of 37.3 degrees Celsius, and underwent a PCR test at a medical institution, which resulted in a positive diagnosis of COVID-19. The player is currently undergoing appropriate treatment and recovery measures.

Player B
Feb 17 (Thu) No abnormalities during the day. Negative result from the club's own antigen test. No abnormalities on Feb 18 (Fri). Sore throat and a slight fever of 37.1 degrees on Feb 19 (Sat). PCR test conducted at a medical institution confirmed positive for the novel coronavirus. Currently undergoing appropriate treatment and recovery.

Feb 17 (Thu) No abnormalities during the day. Negative results from the club's own antigen test. Feb 18 (Fri) No abnormalities. Sore throat at night. Feb 19 (Sat) Had a slight fever of 37.2 degrees and underwent PCR testing at a medical institution, resulting in a positive diagnosis for the novel coronavirus. Currently undergoing appropriate treatment and recovery.
