※Regions with less than 2 registered clubs will compete in the Kanto Sec. 12 playoffs.


□ Competition Method
(1)32 teams are divided into 8 groups from A to H and compete in the group stage. The top 2 teams from each group advance to the knockout stage.

(2)The rules are based on the "Football Competition Rules 2022/23" issued by the Japan Football Association.

(3)The match time for the group stage is 70 minutes (with a halftime of 10 minutes), and for the knockout stage is 80 minutes (with a halftime of 15 minutes). In the group stage, if the result is not determined within the game time, it will be considered a draw. However, in the Round of 16 and quarterfinals, if the result is not determined within the game time, it will be decided by a penalty kick. In the semifinals and finals, there will be a 20-minute extension after a 5-minute break, and if the result is still not determined, it will be decided by a penalty kick.

(4)The ranking determination of each group's league matches shall be as follows.
① Points are awarded as follows: a win is worth 3 points, a draw is worth 1 point, and a loss is worth 0 points. The team with the most points will be ranked higher.
② If the points are the same, the team with a higher goal difference will be ranked higher.
③ If the goal difference is the same, the team with more goals will be ranked higher.
If the scores are the same in ④ and ③, the result will be determined by the match results between the teams. However, in the case of a draw, it will be decided by a lottery.

(5)Knockout Stage Qualifying Teams
A) A total of 16 teams, consisting of the top 2 teams from each group, will advance to the knockout stage.
The drawing of the knockout stage combinations will be conducted by the tournament organizing committee. The drawing method will separate the 1st and 2nd places and conduct a free drawing. (To avoid the same group until the R8)
There will be no 3rd place playoff, and the teams eliminated in the semifinals will be considered as 3rd place.

(6)Warning and Disqualification
A) Players who accumulate 2 warnings during the tournament cannot participate in the next match. Players who are ordered to be disqualified cannot participate in the next match.
From the group stage to the quarterfinals, warnings will not carry over to the semifinals. However, if a suspension from the group stage to the quarterfinals has not been served, it will be carried over and applied to the semifinals.
Example: Players who receive their second warning in the quarterfinals will not be able to participate in the semifinals.
Regarding the subsequent measures, they will be determined by the Tournament Discipline and Fair Play Committee.
