Regarding the specifications of the uniforms for the official matches of the 2023 season, it has been discovered that the position of the "You'll Never Walk Alone" rubber print on the back is in violation of "Article 4, Section 5 of the Football Competition Rules - Equipment of Competitors" and "Article 12, Section 2 of the Uniform Guidelines".
As a result of discussions with relevant parties, we have decided to change the position and material of the message print on the official match uniforms worn by the players and place it on the back side of the shirt front.
Note: The specifications for uniforms other than those worn by players in official matches (exhibition and sales authentic uniforms) will remain unchanged and will be placed on the back.

The message of "You'll Never Walk Alone" that FC Tokyo has cherished with the fans and supporters has been placed inside the uniform since the middle of the 2020 season. We apologize for the last-minute change in placement this time, but the players will continue to carry this message within them unchanged in the 2023 season.
