[U-18] Spain and Portugal Expedition Day 5

We will deliver a report on the 5th day of the Spain-Portugal expedition, which is being conducted from April 3rd (Mon) to April 12th (Wed).

On the 7th day (Thursday) of the 5th day of the expedition, we had a late dinner and went to bed due to the match with Sporting CP in the evening yesterday. We checked out of the hotel at 4 am and headed to San Sebastian, Spain, the next destination of the expedition. First, we went to Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport. In the local TV programs and news of the past few days, there has been a lot of talk about the "O Clássico" of the Portuguese Primeira Liga between SL Benfica and FC Porto, which will be held on the 7th (Friday) local time. Even the female cleaning staff at the airport said to us, "If Benfica wins today, they will be closer to winning the league!"
Players and staff wearing FC Tokyo gear during their travels are often approached by locals and tourists.

I returned to Madrid-Barajas Airport in Spain after about an hour of boarding the plane, passing through the crowded airport with people gathered from all over the world, after 4 days.

And from here, we will head to San Sebastian, traveling north in Spain for about 5 hours by bus. Along the way, we will have lunch at a service area with magnificent views.

Arrived at the accommodation after 5 PM. After a walk and dinner, I will prepare for the tournament starting tomorrow.
Through this expedition, athletes who compete in the world experience the importance of conditioning firsthand, including long hours of travel, changes in dining environment, and time differences. We will connect everything that can be felt through the expedition to growth, not only on the pitch.

The tournament we are participating in this time is the "37th Real Sociedad U-17 International Tournament," a historic tournament. The participating teams are FC Tokyo U-18, Real Sociedad, Real Madrid CF, RC Celta de Vigo, CA Osasuna, and Mohammed VI Football Academy, a total of 6 teams.
In the evening, representatives from each team gathered at the Real Sociedad's home stadium, Reale Arena, for the club's introduction presentation. At night, the opening ceremony was held. Afterwards, we were guided through the stadium, where we witnessed the facilities such as the dressing rooms, the dining area for players before and after the game, the media room, and the lounge, and saw the excellence of the facilities.

Please give your warm support to FC Tokyo U-18, who will be competing on the world stage.
