[Progress Report] Regarding the Events of the Emperor's Cup JFA 103rd All Japan Soccer Championship 3rd Round

An act that violates the operational management regulations established by the Japan Football Association (JFA) was carried out in the 3rd round of the Emperor's Cup JFA 103rd All Japan Soccer Championship held on July 12, 2023 (Wed).

We would like to report that we have received reports from multiple individuals who have executed the action by today, July 14 (Fri). We will conduct an inquiry with the individuals concerned by the club and consider a strict response as a club. We will continue to investigate, including whether there are any individuals involved in the same act other than the reporter.



Confirmed Violation
Bringing and using explosives and other dangerous substances in the FC Tokyo side general admission stand. This act violates Article 4 (Prohibited Acts) Section 2 of the JFA's operational management regulations.

We will conduct an interview with the relevant person in the club in the near future. Until the fact-finding is completed, FC Tokyo will refuse entry to related matches for the person in question. After the fact-finding, we will implement a strict response and report again.


Furthermore, regarding the vandalism of the Tobitakyu Station signboard, the police investigation is underway and the club will cooperate with the investigation. We will provide updates on this matter as they become available.
