In Tokyo, we are promoting the "My City Report" initiative, which allows users to report damage or malfunctions in facilities such as roads and parks by posting photos from a smartphone app, in order to carry out necessary repairs and improvements. About "Road Report System My City Report (MCR)"
The "My City Report for citizens (hereinafter referred to as "MCR")" is a system that utilizes a smartphone app to allow citizens to report road damage or problems, or in other words, "road troubles" that they notice on the spot. By taking photos of things like "loose blocks on the sidewalk" or "missing streetlights" and submitting them, the information will be sent to the city along with the location. The reported road damage or problems will be repaired as needed. The app allows for submissions 24 hours a day. By receiving reports from citizens and conducting detailed road management, we aim to further improve safety and provide a safe and comfortable road for everyone.
