・The 48 teams are divided into 12 groups from A to L and compete in the group stage. The top 2 teams from each group and the top 3rd place team from each group will advance to the knockout stage, making a total of 32 teams.
・The match time will be 70 minutes from the group stage to the quarterfinals, and 80 minutes for the semifinals and finals (with a 10-minute halftime). In the group stage, if the result is not determined within the allotted time, it will be considered a draw. However, in the round of 32, round of 16, and quarterfinals, if the result is not determined within the allotted time, the winner will be decided by a penalty kick. In the semifinals and finals, there will be a 20-minute extension after a 5-minute break, and if the result is still not determined, the winner will be decided by a penalty kick.
