【Notice from Tokyo】Let's make efforts to prevent heatstroke this summer, which has been particularly hot!

FC Tokyo has signed a comprehensive collaboration agreement called the "Wide Collaboration Agreement" with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, its hometown, in March 2023, and is cooperating in various fields to further develop the capital Tokyo and improve services for its citizens.

□ Notice from Tokyo Metropolitan Government
This summer, the average temperature in Tokyo in July has reached a record high, and it is necessary to further implement measures to prevent heatstroke even after August. The risk of heatstroke is increasing during sports activities and event hosting both indoors and outdoors. Therefore, it is important to manage your health on a daily basis, replenish fluids and salt when going out, and check the "heat index (WBGT)" through weather forecast apps or other means (measuring with a device is also effective) and take preventive actions.
In Tokyo, we provide easy-to-understand information on the "Heatstroke Alert Status" and "Heat Index" in the city, as well as basic knowledge on heatstroke prevention and TOKYO Cool Share on the "Heatstroke Prevention Portal Site".

We are currently accepting submissions for practical examples that can be easily implemented by the elderly and children in their homes and communities as "Heatstroke Prevention Tips for Everyday Life". We look forward to your submissions (until the end of September). Selected examples will be regularly shared on the portal site. Please take a look.
