[School] France Expedition Day 1 and 2 Report

[Day 1]
FC Tokyo Soccer and Futsal School will be sending 8 selected students to participate in Europoussins2024, held in France!
Left Haneda Airport for France on May 29 (Wed).

We were able to smoothly proceed with procedures such as leaving the country with the help of our official partner, JTB.
Take a flight and it will take approximately 15 hours!

It was a long time, but each person spent their own time on the plane, watching movies, enjoying the scenery, and taking a little sleep.
Arrived safely at Paris' Charles de Gaulle Airport!
At the airport, I met up with Coco-san, who will be taking care of us during the tournament.

From the airport, take a train and transfer to Rennes. From the airport, take the subway to get around.
After taking a break at a large terminal and eating a sandwich, we arrived in Rennes by Shinkansen.

From there, we headed to our accommodation, which was a 40-minute drive away. Despite showing signs of fatigue, the children arrived safely after a journey of about 20 hours without any accidents or injuries.

We confirmed things to be careful about during our travels, reflected on our actions, and checked tomorrow's schedule at our accommodation.
The first day was a long journey, but the children spent the day experiencing the differences in environment between Japan and their own country.
Tomorrow, we have plans to visit Mont Saint-Michel!

[Day 2]
We have reached the second day of our trip to France.
Everyone woke up full of energy this morning, without showing any signs of fatigue from yesterday's long journey!
Breakfast was prepared by Coco-san, the organizer of the tournament. We had juice, fruits, cereal, and each of us chose our favorite bread from a bakery near our accommodation and ate it.
The breakfast was very delicious and satisfying!
We also made sure to prepare and clean up for meals ourselves.

After breakfast, we went to visit the World Heritage Site Mont Saint-Michel that we were looking forward to! As we got closer to Mont Saint-Michel, the children were very excited. While touring, Coco-san explained in detail the meaning of the building's structure and the use of rooms in the past, mentioning that she used to work here.
The children fully experienced history and culture!

After visiting Mont Saint-Michel, we went to a nearby shop run by Coco's friend, where we were kindly provided with cookies and apple juice. We took a break and bought some souvenirs!
Before everyone makes a purchase, we were able to visit the production process of the store's signature product, caramel, up close and personal, and we also got to try freshly made caramel.
This shop is also participating in this tournament and will welcome everyone with great enthusiasm!

After that, we were invited to Coco's house, where we were able to interact with goats and chickens in the garden, and also play a French game called petanque.

After playing, we filled out a diary looking back on our previous trips, and had yakisoba for dinner, as well as a dessert made with buckwheat flour commonly used in the Brittany region!

Today, I had a fulfilling day centered around sightseeing. Tomorrow, I plan to visit a local elementary school in the morning and have a training match in the afternoon.
We will now prepare ourselves both mentally and physically for the tournament!
