-Day 5-
〇4-3
vs Incheon Football Park
1st Half 2-0
Second Half 0-2
3rd Match 2-1
While I felt that many Korean teams are characterized by their forward momentum, this team was one that defended deep in their half and launched counterattacks after regaining possession.
The U-15 Musashi had the ball for a significant amount of time, and the players, who have not experienced this much in Japan, seemed a bit confused.
The build-up of the defense, the tempo of the passing in the midfield, and the way to break through in front of the goal required a high level of quality as the opponent defended deeply.
It was a match where individual skills were found to have issues, such as inaccurate passes, too many touches disrupting the rhythm, and not being able to position oneself advantageously to advance the ball.
Tonight, I went to an all-you-can-eat samgyeopsal place. In Korea, there is a particular way to grill samgyeopsal, and I was enjoying it while being taught by the staff.
I will do my best on the final day tomorrow with the power of samgyeopsal!
- Day 6 -
Final day of the South Korea expedition.
Many players were on their first overseas expedition, but all the Korean dishes were delicious, and there were no issues with the meals.
[Match 1]
vs FC KHT (30 minutes x 3 halves)
Draw 6-6
First Half 1-3
Second Half 2-0
3rd Goal 3-0
This match was against a 2nd year junior high school student, who is one grade above.
It was a match against an opponent whose players were taller and had a larger build than any team we faced during the expedition period.
Until now, when facing second graders, we often fell behind early due to speed and power, but we started the match well, showed battles for the ball, and the players demonstrated growth during this expedition.
Still a first-year junior high school student, there is plenty of room for growth even outside the pitch.
As the matches progressed, the time spent discussing as a team increased, and a player-driven attitude towards solving issues was also observed.
Looking back on these six days, it started with heavy snowfall.
We were forced to change the schedule due to the venue being unavailable, but thanks to Mr. Jin and Mr. Shin, who attended on-site, we were able to go through the entire schedule without any issues. We truly appreciate your help. Thank you very much.
There were no injuries or illnesses, and the players' growth was maximized. It was such a trip to South Korea.
Thank you for your continued support for their growth.
