We are pleased to announce that RIP SLYME will be singing "Baile TOKYO" as the theme song for the documentary film following FC Tokyo's 2015 season, which has been officially announced.
1. Theme Song Information
□Title: "Baile TOKYO" (Warner Music Japan/unBORDE)
□Artist: RIP SLYME
□Lyrics and Composition: RYO-Z, ILMARI, PES & SU/DJ FUMIYA
□Price and Release Date: To be determined
【RYO-Z(RIP SLYME) Comment】
"Baile" means both dance and party, and in the Brazilian football scene, it refers to a game where you can play freely and win easily. When this word was used to connect FC Tokyo and Rip's dance music, I could imagine the completion (victory) of the song. I am convinced that the vibration of this song will become the theme of FC Tokyo's "Victory Dance" in 2016."
【RIP SLYME Profile】
Made their major debut in March 2001 with the single "STEPPER'S DELIGHT". Their sound combines a sophisticated and unique pop sense that is loved by a wide range of people, with rap exchanges that impress hardcore listeners on a high level. They were the first domestic hip-hop unit to hold a one-man live at Nippon Budokan, spreading hip-hop culture widely in Japan.
