"I am sincerely happy. I would like to express my gratitude to all the fans, supporters, coach, staff, teammates, and everyone who has supported me throughout the year. We still have the Emperor's Cup, so I want to win it and repay the fans and supporters. I also hope to taste league championship together next year."

"I think that I was able to receive this award thanks to everyone involved with FC Tokyo. Thank you very much.
