"Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the birth due to the game on that day, but first of all, I am truly grateful to my wife who did her best. I would also like to thank my family, teammates and their families, staff including the coach who supported me during my wife's pregnancy. My teammates often say "I hope the baby takes after your wife", but I would be happy if he takes after me since it's a boy! I will continue to do my best for my new family and all of the supporters, so thank you for your continued support."
