Today, we would like to inform you that our player Yojiro TAKAHAGI has been selected as a member of the SAMURAI BLUE (Japan national team) for the EAFF E-1 Football Championship 2017 Final Tournament (12/9, 12, 16 @ Tokyo / Ajinomoto Stadium), which was announced by the Japan Football Association (JFA), a public interest incorporated foundation.

'I am honored to be selected for the Japan national team. I think it's a chance to appeal for the World Cup, so I want to play with all my strength. Since it's a match at Ajinomoto Stadium, I would be happy if FC Tokyo fans and supporters could also support me. I will do my best to contribute to the team's victory.'
