[U-15] 5th day of the China Guangzhou Expedition

On the fifth day of the expedition, today, the tournament had a day off, but it was utilized for preparations for tomorrow.

Confirmed team tactics for the first time in the morning.
Until now, we deliberately did not touch on that part in detail for the players' experience, but we confirmed the defensive rules, how to move the ball as a team, and how to enter crosses.
Other players enjoy their relaxed time and there are also big laughs from players passing the ball around.
I felt that the players have become much more familiar with each other compared to the first day of the expedition.

In the afternoon, there will be a practice match of 20 minutes halves between FC Imabari, who is also participating in this tournament, and a team from Japan.
The result was a 3-0 victory, and we were able to create several opportunities through quick pressing from the front, followed by short counterattacks. However, we lacked accuracy in the final part, and the score remained at 3 points.

The last important match of the group stage against Guangzhou R&F is crucial as it will determine the end result. The opposing team has 8 Chinese representatives and also includes Japanese coaches.
However, I heard reassuring words from the players saying, "We will definitely win with the pride of FC Tokyo in our hearts," so it will surely be a good game.

The expedition has entered its fifth day, and the players are gradually accumulating fatigue. However, under the instructions of Coach Takashi OKUHARA, who says "Eat at least three bowls of rice every day" and with three weight measurements per day, the players are coming along smoothly without any players falling ill.
Especially the meals at the dormitory are so delicious that the players and staff have to be careful not to overeat, as it is truly authentic Chinese cuisine.

We are grateful to all the tournament staff who have given us such a wonderful opportunity and supported us with great hospitality.
