[U-15 Musashi] 2nd day of the Netherlands expedition

Day 2 of the expedition.

Without showing any signs of fatigue from yesterday's travel, they energetically went for a walk early in the morning and showcased the tradition of Japan through radio calisthenics.
After that, I had breakfast and headed to training.

The players' excitement and smiles naturally increased as they were finally able to play soccer.
The venue is the facility of SBV Excelsior, which belongs to the top league in the Netherlands, the Eredivisie.
The practice was scheduled to take place on the training ground next to the stadium, but thanks to the efforts of the administrator, we were able to use the stadium at short notice, which further boosted the players' morale.
During the pre-training meeting, Coach Sato conveyed the theme of this expedition, and among them, "accepting everything" was emphasized.
In training, we started with a gesture game to express ourselves and gradually moved our bodies.
We were able to have a good training session in terms of getting used to the turf and atmosphere because the venue for the evening training match was a stadium.

After having lunch, I was able to go sightseeing in the city and experience a different culture, which I cannot usually do.
I challenged myself to communicate using broken English and gestures practiced in the morning while shopping.

Departure to the training match after returning to the hotel once.
The opponent is SBV Excelsior U14. The venue was supposed to be the stadium where we trained in the morning... but this time it has been changed to the practice field next to the stadium in the opposite direction of the morning.
We will continue to prepare without being shaken at all with the spirit of "accepting everything".

As per Coach Sato's instructions to value the first 15 minutes and challenge ourselves, we overwhelmed the opponent right after the kickoff and took the lead with a goal from Yasuda in the 2nd minute of the first half.
Tanaka adds two goals by actively challenging and the first half ends with a score of 3-0.
We also entered the second half with the same focus on the first 15 minutes, but we often found ourselves in trouble due to our own mistakes.
The team managed to defend around goalkeeper Kamoshita and gradually regained momentum, with Takahashi breaking free on a through pass from Moritsugi and scoring an additional point.
The game ended 4-0 without scoring despite continuing to create chances.

The staff and local coordinators of Excelsior have praised the fact that there are many smiles and that they are enjoying soccer a lot, and they even said that the image of Japanese people has changed in a positive way.

There were many things that did not go as planned during today's activities, and many things that did not work as expected in Japan. However, I believe that it is because we were able to accept everything and challenge ourselves positively from there that we received such an evaluation.
Among them, many challenges were found, and from tomorrow onwards, I will accept them all while working on those challenges, and I want to enjoy soccer with all my might.
