FC Tokyo has been in a business partnership with CE Sabadell, a team in the Spanish second division (at the time), since June 2013. The partnership aimed to develop players overseas through temporary transfers and training during the off-season. However, the business partnership was terminated on September 30, 2015.
 

We regret to inform the fans and supporters who have been supporting CE Sabadell that FC Tokyo will continue to consider business partnerships with overseas clubs and will continue to pursue activities with a focus on "Asia" and the "world".
