Tokyo Gas will offset all CO2 emissions generated during the 2018 Meiji Yasuda J1 League Match, FC Tokyo vs Nagoya Grampus, which will be held at Ajinomoto Stadium on April 28th (Saturday), by utilizing the J-Credit system.

□About the environmental activities of Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. and FC Tokyo
TOKYO GAS CO.,LTD has been utilizing the "J-Credit System" in various internal and external events, including the Ise-Shima Summit and the 87th and 88th Urban Baseball Tournaments, with the aim of contributing to the environment.
In addition, FC Tokyo has been working on environmental contributions such as donating money based on the number of goals scored in home games to the "Tokyo Green Fund", using reusable cups during game operations, and bringing their own chopsticks for business staff.
Both companies will continue to actively contribute to the improvement of regional and global environmental issues through efforts to reduce CO2 emissions and other environmental burdens.

※1 In home games held by FC Tokyo, CO2 is emitted due to game operations at the stadium and energy consumption during the transportation of visitors, players, and staff. It is estimated that approximately 50t of CO2 is emitted in one home game, which is equivalent to the CO2 absorption capacity of about 10,000 beech trees.
※2 The J-Credit system recognized by the government is a system in which the government certifies the amount of greenhouse gas emissions reduction and absorption, such as CO2, through initiatives such as the introduction of energy-saving equipment and forest management, as "credits". The credits generated by this system can be used for various purposes, such as achieving the goals of a low-carbon society action plan and carbon offset.
