□Player Comments
『I have decided to transfer to Nagoya Grampus.
I am very sorry to leave the team in the middle of the season. It was a difficult decision to transfer while there was a possibility of winning the championship.
Looking back on the past six months, while the team has been performing well, I have had strong feelings of uncertainty and hesitation about whether I am okay as I am. After much deliberation and thought, I have decided to transfer to a new environment and challenge myself, as I want to continue growing as a player.
I started my professional career in Tokyo and played as a Tokyo player for 9 and a half years, including Tokyo's academy. I am proud to have played at Ajinomoto Stadium and grateful for the joy it brought me. I have had countless experiences.
I believe that the current me is also thanks to the coaches, staff, players, and everyone involved who have supported me until now.
There are only words of gratitude to the fans and supporters who have supported us with passionate cheers, whether it's a good or bad time for the team, at Ajinomoto Stadium or even in distant away games.
I will do my best to show my growth, not as Yuichi MARUYAMA of FC Tokyo.
Thank you for 9 and a half years.
