[U-18] Sweden Expedition Day 7

Day 7 of the expedition.
The opponent for the second match of the group stage is the strong Spanish team, Deportivo Alaves.

From the beginning, Tokyo has been overwhelmed by the opponent's technical skills, quick reactions to second balls, strength and skill in duels, and their passive play has been noticeable, preventing them from playing their usual aggressive style. However, they managed to end the first half with a 0-0 scoreline without conceding any goals.

The players who were scolded by coach Tadashi NAKAMURA at halftime gradually improved their second ball recovery rate and were able to penetrate into the opponent's goal area in the second half.

43 minutes, Uemura breaks through the center with a combination of Sudo and Uemura, but is blocked by the opponent's goalkeeper in a one-on-one situation.

Immediately after the corner kick, Omori grazed the ball with his head on the near side from Numata's kick, causing the opponent to score an own goal and taking the lead.

After that, we calmly defended against the opponent's aggressive attacks, with GK Riku NOZAWA leading the team, and the game ended with a score of 1-0.
They accumulated valuable 3 points towards advancing to the top tournament.

Tomorrow's Group Stage Match 3 is Orebro SK U-17 from Sweden.

Both teams have won 2 matches so far. According to the tournament regulations, only the top 2 teams from each group, who have performed well, can advance to the quarterfinals of the tournament. We want to win and advance as the 1st place team to ensure our qualification.

We will fight with all our might as a team tomorrow as well.
