Swiss luxury watch brand TAG Heuer, in collaboration with the Japan Professional Football League (located in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Mitsuru Murai, abbreviated as J-League), will be holding the "TAG Heuer YOUNG GUNS AWARD 2018" event. We are pleased to announce that our player, Go Hatano, has been nominated for this award.
From November 28th (Wed) 18:00 to December 16th (Sun) 23:59, the general voting will start on the official website. The results of the general voting and the selection process will be announced on December 17th, 2018 (Mon) on the official website, for the 11 chosen members of 'TAG Heuer YOUNG GUNS'.
About the TAG Heuer YOUNG GUNS AWARD
The award was launched in June 2017 with the aim of fostering a young player base that will lead the future of the J-League and contribute to its development.
The recipients of the 2018 awards are 543 players under the age of 23 (※born after April 2, 1995) who belong to J1, J2, and J3 clubs.
Based on their performance throughout the season, 30 candidates have been selected and the general voting by fans will begin on November 28, 2018 (scheduled) on the official website. After the final selection process, which includes the results of the voting, the 11 best young gun players of the year will be chosen on December 17, 2018 (scheduled).
