Announcement of the 2019 Season "Player Invitation Seat" Implementation

At FC Tokyo, we will continue to implement the "Player Invitation Seats" program in the 2019 season, where players invite people from local welfare facilities and others. This season, all players (※) have agreed to participate in this project under the call of player chairman Kosuke Ota, and we will invite them to home games in collaboration with local municipalities, welfare organizations, and boards of education in our hometown. Please note that the organizations to be invited will be determined through coordination between the club and each municipality. We ask for your warm support for the FC Tokyo players who fight alongside the community this season as well.

This project started from the players' desire to make people feel the excitement and power of soccer up close by watching it live at the stadium, and to contribute to the local community through soccer. It has been implemented continuously since 2003. The players themselves purchase annual tickets and invite people from welfare facilities and children from local soccer teams, among others.

□FC Tokyo Player Association Chairman Hirokazu Ota Player Comment
"We will continue to implement the 'Player Invitation Seat' for the 2019 season. For each home league match, we will invite 32 people from welfare facilities to the Main S designated seats, for a total of 544 people annually. We hope that many people will be able to see the players' dynamic performances at Ajinomoto Stadium and become fans of FC Tokyo. We will continue to strive to be a 'strong and beloved team' by giving our all in daily practice and matches. "

※Note that Naohiro Ishikawa (current FC Tokyo Club Communicator), who has been invited since his active player days in support of the purpose of this project, will continue to invite boys and girls soccer teams this season.
