When Shirai appeared on the field, the students' eyes all lit up at once, and they welcomed him with loud applause and cheers.

Shirai told the students, "Whether you aim to become a professional or not, please enjoy playing soccer with your teammates now and work hard!"

Many questions flew from the school students to Shirai, and in response to the question, "How do you stay motivated when you are dropped from the starting lineup?", Shirai spoke as follows.

"Of course, it's frustrating to be dropped from the starting lineup, but I see it as an opportunity to review what I am currently lacking. I believe that if I keep working hard, the chance will definitely come again."

Many of the school students nodded vigorously and their eyes shone brightly, which was an impressive sight.

It was a moment when Shirai's experiences and thoughts truly reached the hearts of the school students.
The children listened intently with serious expressions to the words from a professional's unique perspective.

Also, player Shirai demonstrated the current school topic of "Control" using an actual ball.

Regarding the placement of the ball when Shirai plays as a side back, he told the school students that he consciously controls the ball slightly outside the kicking foot so that he can kick it both vertically and diagonally.
He also added an explanation about what he focuses on in preparation before receiving the ball!

From the school students, we saw them applying what they learned from Shirai, saying, "There are overlaps with my own position, so I want to be aware of it and work on it right away!"

At the end, commemorative photos were taken, individual autographs were given, and the school students sent their energy to player Shirai with high fives!

Afterwards, many positive voices were heard, such as "I will work harder in practice!" and "I won't give up on my dream of becoming a pro!", showing that this was a great motivation leading to their future growth.

At the FC Tokyo Soccer School, we will continue activities that nurture children's dreams and goals through opportunities to interact with top team players.
