Newly Joined Player Interview
DAY1 Seiji KIMURA

Q: How is Tokyo after a return of about a year and a half?
A, it's been a while since I came back to Tokyo and it feels nostalgic. I felt that the roads are narrow. In Yamagata, the roads were very wide, so I'm a little scared because I'm not used to narrow roads.

Q, I think I have learned various things at each team as I have moved between three teams in a short period of time.
A, each team that transferred had its own characteristics. It was the ability to adapt well to the changes in the environment that was acquired during the short period of transfer.

Q: Have you been able to grow by playing according to each team's style?
A, Kyoto is a team that moves intensely in matches, and I think the intensity of their movements has increased. In Sagamihara, I was able to learn about defensive responses and predictions. Although I haven't played much in Yamagata, it is a team with a similar build-up to Tokyo, so I was able to learn how to move the ball and possess it in different ways.

Q: When looking at SNS, it gives the impression that each team is loved by fans and supporters.
A, it's grateful. I thought that since each team was only there for half a year, there would be no loyalty to the team, but that's not the case at all. There were people who supported me, and I am very grateful.

Q, I think there will be a competition for the center back position.
In Tokyo's center back position, there are players Mori Shige, Kimoto, and Okazaki. They are all great players, but I have come back to win there. As an academy-trained player, I have to carry Tokyo and I want to approach training with the intention of taking the starting lineup. When I get a chance in the game, I want to produce solid results and work hard not to give up the center back position.
