On July 12, 2023 (Wed), regarding the following incidents that occurred in the 3rd round of the Emperor's Cup JFA 103rd All Japan Soccer Championship held, we would like to inform you of the progress report as of today, July 15 (Sat), and our response. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience and concern caused to many people on this occasion.

□ Progress report and response for each event

(1) FCTokyo side behind the goal free seating stand, bringing and using explosives and other dangerous materials

We conducted interviews with the three individuals who claimed to have carried out the same act today, July 15th (Saturday), and confirmed the fact of the execution. Therefore, until the hearing and punishment by the Japan Football Association (JFA), the organizer of the tournament, for the individuals who committed the violation, FC Tokyo has decided to respond as follows:

【Response】
Entry prohibited to matches related to FC Tokyo (regardless of home or away) held after tomorrow, July 16 (Sun).

※We will inform you again if there are any additional penalties or measures to be taken.
※Please note that we will continue to investigate, including the presence or absence of individuals involved in the same act other than the declarant, and if any relevant individuals are identified, we will take strict measures.

Tobitakyu Station Front Signboard Vandalism (Advertisement Signboard Defacement)

Regarding this matter, a report of damage has been submitted to the police as a violation of the law, and FC Tokyo has received a request from the police and is cooperating with the investigation. We will provide further updates as they become available.


[Regarding the restoration of the signboard]
Regarding the restoration of the signboard in question, we have been in discussion and confirmation with Tokyo Verdy since the day of the incident, in accordance with their intentions. Yesterday, we received a notification from Tokyo Verdy that the cleaning has been carried out.


Once again, at FC Tokyo, we will make even greater efforts to provide a safe and comfortable match viewing experience for stadium visitors, by ensuring the dissemination and strict adherence to the viewing rules based on the match operation management regulations.
