3連敗は許されない、札幌を迎え撃つ！

　1stステージ第11節は、ホーム国立競技場に札幌を迎え撃つ。現在最下位の札幌だが、前節の対F・マリノス戦では善戦。決してあなどることはできないが、“東京のサッカー”を発揮して、なんとしても勝利に結びつけたい一戦だ。ジャーンを警告累積で欠くが、CBには茂庭を入れ、その他の先発メンバーは前節と変わらず。

　対する札幌は、これまでの3バックから「東京の4-2-3-1のシステムに対して、左MFの和波を下げて4バック」（イバンチェビッチ監督）に、FW小倉を1トップに置く東京と同じフォーメーションで臨んできた。

Beat Consadole! Stop The Slump! 

The 11th. game of the J-League first stage saw F.C.TOKYO take on Consadole Sapporo at the National Stadium. Despite their lowly position Consadole played well in a narrow 2-3 loss to League leading F Marinos last week; manager Ivanovich switched from his regular three back formation to 4-2-3-1, the same as TOKYO, with Ogura as lone striker. Moniwa replaced the suspended Jean but otherwise TOKYO were unchanged from the previous game. 

スペースを突く狙い通りの展開で、ケリーが先制弾！

　開始早々、戸田が後方からのボールに合わせ、左サイドからDFの裏に走り込み、チャンスをつくる。直後に札幌も、小倉がミドルシュートを放ちゴールを狙う。両者、布陣をコンパクトに保ってプレスを掛け合い、ボールの奪い合いが続く。

　しかし徐々に支配を高める東京。5分には下平から、DFの裏に抜け出した戸田にパスが出るが、相手GKが飛び出しキャッチ。その後、再三DFラインとGKの間のスペースをつこうとするが、決定的なシーンはつくることができない。10分にも、下平からのパスに合わせた戸田がシュート体勢に入るが、飛び出したGKに跳ね返される。

　だが、この狙いがその後に活きた。11分に今度はアマラオがDFの裏へ抜けてゴールを狙い、CKを得る。1本目はDFにクリアされたが続く2本目。宮沢の蹴ったボールは一旦GKにはじかれるも、再び宮沢が拾ってゴール前へ。待ち構えていた茂庭がヘッドで落とすと、そこに狙い澄ましたように戸田が飛び出した。戸田の立て続け2本のシュートはGK佐藤のファインプレーに阻まれたが、そのこぼれ球につめたケリーがヘッドで押し込み、ゴール！　セットプレーから札幌DFにゆさぶりをかけ、先制弾を生みだした。

Kelly Strikes 

Straight from the kick off Toda latched on to a long ball down the left and infiltrated behind the Consadole backline; the chance came to naught and Consadole countered immediately through Ogura. With both teams employing the same system the game began as a tight, compact midfield battle. Slowly, however, TOKYO began to gain the upper hand. In the 5th. minute a through 
ball from Shimotaira saw the keeper race out to foil Toda; five minutes later the same combination were again foiled by the keeper. TOKYO were aiming for the space between the Consadole backline and the keeper but couldn't find the decisive ball until the 11th. minute when Amaral won a corner on the left. Miyazawa swung it in only for the ball to come back to him from a defender; he tried again and the keeper punched the ball straight to Moniwa who headed back into the danger area. The ball fell to Toda unmarked in front of goal. He shot and the keeper saved it. He shot again and again the keeper saved it. As Toda contemplated a third attempt Kelly burst into the six yard area and imperiously headed the ball into the back of the net to give TOKYO the lead. 

チャンスを活かした石川、戸田の嬉しいゴール

　札幌は19分に、MF山瀬が左サイドからU-21日本代表のチームメイトでもある茂庭に1対1の勝負を挑み、ドリブルで仕掛けてシュートを放つがゴールの左外に。

　その直後の21分、今度はケリーが果敢にペナルティエリアの外からシュート。このこぼれ球をつなぐと、石川が右サイドに上がった加地にパス。加地はDFのマークを受けて、フォローに来た石川にパスを戻す。これを受けた石川はペナルティエリアの外からノーステップで右足を振りぬくと、ボールはフワリとGKの手を越えゴールに吸い込まれていった!!　そのシュートはFKではないものの、先のワールドカップ準々決勝vsイングランド戦でブラジルのロナウジーニョが見せたスーパーシュートと同じ弾道そのもの。この石川の抜群のコントロールによる移籍後初ゴールで東京は追加点を奪った。

　その後もフィールドの縦横を広く使った速いパス回しからサイド攻撃、またボランチの位置から前線への飛び出しなどで、札幌を押し込む東京。29分、札幌FWジャディウソンの強烈なFKも土肥がファインセーブでCKに逃れると、33分、速いリスタートからパスをつないでケリーが前線にロングパス。このボールに絶妙のタイミングで戸田が飛び出しGKと1対1になると、落ちついてシュート。これが決まり、東京は早くも3点目をゲット！　石川、戸田と、これまでチャンスを作り続けてきた選手がきっちりゴールをものにし、札幌を圧倒した。

　東京は守備も集中しており、厳しいプレスで札幌の攻撃を単発に終わらせる。札幌FWバーヤックが度々東京DFの裏に抜け出る動きをみせるが、これにはラインを上げてすべてオフサイドにかける。44分、山瀬からのスルーパスに小倉が左ゴールエリア前にフリーで抜け出すも、土肥が勇気ある飛び出しで一足速くボールをキャッチ。3点のリードを保ち、前半を終えた。

Ishikawa, Toda Extend The Lead 

Consadole produced their best chance in the 19th. minute as midfielder Yamase took on his Japan Under 21 colleague Minowa and fired in a shot that flew narrowly wide. Two minutes later a long range blast from Kelly was deflected to Ishikawa on the edge of the area. He rolled the ball to Kaji out on the right; finding his path to goal blocked Kaji passed back inside to Ishikawa who struck a stunning first time shot that curled over the keeper in an identical fashion to Ronaldinho's free kick for Brazil in the World Cup quarter final against England. The crowd erupted as Ishikawa joyfully celebrated his first goal for the club. 
Doi made a fine save from Jadilson's free kick in the 29th. minute but F.C.TOKYO were dominating the game and it was no suprise to see them extend the lead in the 33rd. minute. A quickly taken free kick reached Kelly who looked up and launched a glorious long ball over the defence and into the path of Toda who deftly deceived the keeper and finished in style. 
The TOKYO defence line dealt comfortably with the Consadole attack, repeatedly pushing up and catching Baljak offside. Doi dived bravely at the feet of Ogura in the 44th. minute and the first half finished 3-0. 

1点を返されるも踏みとどまり、勝ち点3をゲット

　後半、札幌は和波に替えて右MF酒井を投入、3バックにして反撃に出てきた。立ちあがり、その酒井がDFのクリアボールを拾って思いきりのよいシュートを放つ。

　東京は49分には、攻めあがった加地がクロスを上げるとGKがパンチング。このボールを拾って宮沢がミドルシュートを放ったが、GKがキャッチ。54分にはFKからアマラオがヘディングシュートを放つもバーの上にはずれた。

　その直後だった。酒井のクロスを東京DFがカットし、札幌はCKを得る。右CKをバーヤックがショートコーナーで酒井につなぎ、ペナルティエリア右隅に走り込んでリターンを受けると、そのままシュート。クリーンシュートがゴール左上に決まり、東京は不意をつかれる形で失点してしまった。

　その後、激しいチェックでボールを奪うと、リズムに乗ったのは札幌。中盤での出足が東京を上回り、カウンターを仕掛けてくる。59分には、再びバーヤックの蹴ったCKに今度はジャディウソンがヘディングシュート。ボールはわずかにゴール上に。60分には、左サイドのバーヤックがDFの裏に抜け出し、右サイドでフリーの酒井にパスを送ったが、これはバーヤックがオフサイドにかかり、東京はピンチを免れた。

　70分に東京は、激しいファールに傷んでいた石川に替えて星を投入。しかし、札幌は容赦なくカウンターから波状攻撃を仕掛ける。72分には、酒井、山瀬、小倉らが次々と東京ゴールを脅かすが、これは最終ラインで東京DFがきっちり対応、逆に速攻を仕掛ける。

　77分には戸田に替えて福田を、88分には宮沢に替えて喜名を投入、なんとかボールをキープしチャンスを作りたい東京だが、ミスもありボールの奪い合いから、激しい攻防が繰り返される。だがロスタイムの、酒井の左からのクロスに小倉が放ったヘディングシュートも、土肥がゴール右下ギリギリでセーブ。札幌の反撃を凌ぎきってタイムアップ。前半の貯金を守って、勝ち点3をゲットした。

【原監督の会見要旨】「前節のヴェルディ戦もそうであったが、前半と後半があまりにも違うチームになってしまう。前半は狙い通り、ボールも動いたし相手の背後もうまく狙えた。3点取った以上にチャンスはあったと思う。ところが後半札幌が3バックにして攻撃的に出てくると、そんなに慌てることはないのに、ミスが続いてカウンターに出られたり、バタバタしてしまった。よく1失点で済んだなというのが正直なところだ。相手のやり方や選手が変わると、急に慌ててしまう。もっと自分たちでボールをつなぎながら、攻めに来る相手に対して、――たとえば今日の酒井選手に対して、逆にそこを突いて、攻めていくことができると思う。それが酒井選手に引っ張られてしまい、カウンターを仕掛けてもミスをして取られた。そのあたりが残念だ。連敗していたので一つ勝ててよかったが、いい時と悪い時の差があるので、常にレベルを一定以上に上げていくことが今の一番の課題だ」

【札幌・イバンチェビッチ監督の会見要旨】「まったく2つのゲームのようになってしまった。前半はとても悪い出来。後半はいいサッカーができたと思うが、試合の結果を変えるまでには至らなかった。前半は動きが悪く、組織プレーもできない、パスもつながらない、アグレッシブなプレーも見られなかった。CKから失点してしまって、心理的に追い詰められた。ハーフタイムに修正して、その時点で3点差であったが、できるだけ内容がいい方に向かうように努めたが。FC東京にはおめでとうと言いたい」

TOKYO Weather Fightback For Valuable Win 

Consadole replaced Wanami with Sakai at half time and reverted to their customary three back formation. Sakai looked lively and tested Doi with a powerful effort soon after the restart. TOKYO were not content to sit on their lead: Miyazawa forced a fine save from the Consadole keeper in the 49th. minute and five minutes later Amaral powered a trademark header just over the bar. The game changed unexpectedly in the 54th. minute as Sakai picked up a short corner from Baljak on the right, advanced to the corner of the area and curled a shot over Doi and into the far corner, to make the score 3-1. 
Suddenly Consadole found their rhythm and TOKYO were backpedalling as the visitors upped the tempo in midfield. Jadilson headed a corner from Baljak over the bar when it seemed easier to score and an offside decision against Sakai saved a certain goal. Hoshi replaced Ishikawa, the recipient of a heavy tackle, after 70 minutes but the addition of a defender failed to stem the tide as Consadole continued to pour forward. The TOKYO backline held firm though and Doi was rarely troubled. Fukuda replaced Toda after 77 minutes as TOKYO looked to hold the ball up in advanced positions; Kina came on for Miyazawa in the 88th. minute to add some energy to the TOKYO midfield. Ogura must have thought he had scored as the game entered injury time but Doi produced a superb full length finger tip save to steer his header around the post. TOKYO hung on and thanks to a stirring first half performance earned a valuable 3 points. 

TOKYO manager Hara : 
" As in the Verdy game we played like a completely different team in the second half. The first half went entirely according to plan: we scored three and created a lot of chances. Consadole changed to an attacking three back formation at half time and Sakai caused us a lot of problems-frankly we were lucky to concede only one in the second half. Even so, we had opportunities to counter attack but couldn't string the passes together which was disappointing. We are pleased with the win, of course, but our biggest problem at the moment is consistency ". 

Consadole manager Ivancevic : 
" A game of two halves. We were dreadful in the first half and the first goal had a profound psychological effect on the team. We fell apart but regrouped at half time and played very well in the second half. Unfortunately the three goals we conceded in the first half were too many to overcome. I want to congratulate F.C.Tokyo on a good win ".
