好調の新生・大分から勝ち点3を奪う！

　第25節はホームで大分トリニータを迎え撃つ。前節横浜FM戦は、見応えある攻防を展開しながらもスコアレスドローに終わった。決めるべき場面で決められないという課題は残るが、「チャンスをつくり続けることで勢いを出して、ゴールにつなげたい」と原監督は話す。ルーカスが負傷のため、先週の練習ではササがトップに入る布陣で臨んでいた。ササの先発について、「システムは同じでも、ルーカスとはタイプの違うササのよさを活かしたい。ルーカスは足元が得意だが、ササはクロスに飛び込んだり、前にスペースがあれば少々無理な体勢でもシュートに持ち込める」と原監督。ササを活かす戦いで、得点力不足を解消したいところだ。

　大分は現在勝ち点25。順位は16位と下位に位置するが、第22節終了後にシャムスカ監督を迎え、コーチ陣も一新。そこから浦和、名古屋に連勝し、低迷していたチームは自信を取り戻しつつある。カウンター攻撃をより徹底させているが、期限付移籍していた阿部吉も「自分が居た頃とは違うチーム。より攻撃的になっている」と警戒。コンパクトな布陣から素早く展開するサッカーで、J1残留確定に狙いを定め、アウェーながら勝ち点3を狙ってくるだろう。しかし、大分がどう出てきても「東京のサッカー」で対抗し、勝ち点3を獲ることをめざしたい。結果により順位が入れ替わる対戦だけに、必ず勝利しなければならない重要な一戦だ。

　本日は、9回目を迎える「ブラジルDay」を開催。試合前には両チームのブラジル人選手、監督に花束が贈られ、ルーカス、リチェーリも元気な姿を見せていた。「彼らの分まで戦う」という、その気持ちに期待がかかる。試合は、台風の影響で風が吹き続ける中、大分のキックオフで15:04にスタートした。

New Start!

Oita Trinita were the visitors to Ajinomoto Stadium for the 25th. game of the season. Despite a good performance in the previous game against F Marinos the match had ended in a 0-0 draw. The goal scoring problem continued but, as manager Hara commented, "If we continue to show our prowess in attack, the goals will surely come". Sasa practiced as lone striker during the week in place of the injured Lucas. "The system is the same but Sasa is a different type of player to Lucas. We want to put his talents to use. Lucas is best with the ball played in to his feet but Sasa's forte is heading and shots from seemingly impossible positions", he continued. TOKYO were looking to Sasa to end the goal drought. 
Opponents Trinita lay in 16th. position with 25 points at kick off. The team had won two straight victories over Reds and Grampus and were on a roll under new manager Chamusca as the confidence flooded back. Yoshiro Abe, who recently returned to TOKYO after a loan spell at Oita, warned, "The team's almost unrecognizable from my time there. They've become an aggressive, attacking side". Trinita faced their battle against relegation with a compact, agile style and could be expected to aim for the three points. TOKYO were equally determined to win at home in a vital game that could seriously affect the league positions. 
For the 9th. year TOKYO celebrated Brazil Day and the Brazilian players on both teams were presented with bouquets of flowers before kick off. Lucas and Rychely waved to the crowd as the starting eleven vowed to "play their parts for them as well". A typhoon to the south brought a gusty, swirling wind to the stadium. Trinita kicked off shortly after 3pm. 

カウンターが冴える大分の前にリズムをつかめず

　東京はササを最前線に、トップ下に栗澤、右に鈴木規、左に戸田の布陣。大分は、好調のFWマグノ アウベスと高松を2トップに。トップ下にMF吉田、MFエジミウソンとトゥーリオがダブルボランチを組む3-5-2の布陣。序盤は、ボールの奪い合いが続く展開となった。しかし、東京は奪っても前線に収めることができず、攻めが単発に終わる。12分に鈴木規が左サイドからドリブルで中に向かって放ったシュートが今日1本目のシュートとなった。15分には左に上がった栗澤にパスがとおり、中に切り込みシュートを放つがGKキャッチ。

　大分は速い攻撃が徹底しており、FWマグノ アウベス、高松にボールを集め、2列目からの飛び出しも利用してチャンスをうかがう。20分にはフリーになったFWマグノ アウベスがエリア外から中に回りこんでシュート。21分にはDFラインの裏に抜け出したMF吉田にロングパスがわたり、フリーでシュートを打たれるが、バーの上に。25分には、加地が大分MF根本に切り替えされ、右エリアへの侵入を許す。深い位置からマイナスのラストパスを出されるが、かろうじてDFがクリア。

　30分には早いリスタートから梶山→今野がつなぎ、スピードに乗って鈴木規がクロス。ゴール前にササ、後ろから戸田も飛び込むいい形をつくったが、相手DFカットで左CKに。しかしリズムに乗る大分は、36分にFW高松のドリブルからエリア前のFWマグノにつなぎ、シュート体勢に。DFのこぼれを高松が拾い、シュートを打たれる。39分には東京DFの裏に飛び出した吉田にスルーパスがとおされ、そこからゴール前での波状攻撃を受ける。これは相手のパスミスにも助けられて逃れることができた。

　44分、東京のCKのチャンスから逆にカウンターを食らい、大分MF吉田がエリア内からシュート。土肥のセーブのこぼれを拾われ、FWマグノ アウベスに至近距離からシュートを打たれてしまうが、再び土肥がファインセーブ！　立て続けにカウンターから攻め込まれ、決定的なシーンをつくられるが、土肥の好プレーでようやく切り抜け、0対0で後半へ折り返した。

TOKYO Penned Back By Skillful Counter Attacking 

TOKYO lined up with Sasa as lone striker, Kurisawa in a withdrawn role, Suzuki on the right and Toda on the left. Oita started in a 3-5-2 formation with the in-form Magno Alves partnered by Takamatsu up front, Yoshida just behind the front two and Tulio and Edmilson as double defensive midfielders. Neither side was able to retain possession for long in a frantic opening and TOKYO struggled to make headway in attack. Suzuki registered the first shot in the 12th. minute, cutting inside from the left and letting fly from just outside the area. Kurisawa repeated the move in the 15th. minute but Nishikawa, in the Trinita goal, held his effort comfortably. 
Trinita attacked incisively with Magno Alves and Takamatsu holding the ball up for the midfielders to burst through into dangerous positions. Magno Alves cut inside and shot in the 20th. minute and fired over following a fine long ball from Yoshida a minute later. Midfielder Nemoto slid past Kaji in the 25th. minute and pulled a cross back from the byline that the home defence cleared decisively. 
In the 30th. minute Suzuki hared down the right after a quick restart and curled in a decent cross towards the onrushing Sasa and Toda. The Trinita defence scrambled the ball behind for a corner. It was Trinita who threatened most though, and enjoyed a purple patch as the first period drew to a close. Magno Alves and Takamatsu had shots blocked in the 36th. minute, a poor pass in front of goal saved TOKYO after good work from Yoshida in the 39th. minute and a diving, full-length save from Doi denied Yoshida's powerful drive in the 44th. minute. The loose ball was chipped back into the TOKYO area and Doi produced another stupendous save to palm away Magno Alves' hooked volley. The first half ended 0-0. 

後半は一転、盛り返してチャンスをつくるが、無得点に終わる

　後半に入り、リズムをつかみ始めた東京。51分にはエリアへ侵入した戸田へフィード。体勢を崩しながらも栗澤を経て、ササの前にこぼれるが、シュートのタイミングが合わず。55分には栗澤のクロスにササが飛び込むビッグチャンス。だが、相手DFの危険すれすれの上げた足に阻まれる。57分には自陣で梶山→ササとつなぎ、右の栗澤に大きく展開。栗澤の右クロスは中で合わず。続いて鈴木規の左クロスに戸田がヘッドで競るが、ボールは相手GKキャッチ。サイドからクロスが上がるようになったが、今ひとつタイミングとコースが合わず、フィニッシュには持ち込めなかった。

　62分には鈴木規に代えて阿部吉を投入。64分には加地が右からDFをかわしてエリア内までドリブル突破を図るが、DFに阻まれスローインに逃れられる。65分には左の阿部吉→右の栗澤がクロス。戸田、ササが飛び込むが、相手GKキャッチ。68分には栗澤の右クロスに、中央に戸田が頭から飛び込んで落とし、左エリアに走りこんだ阿部吉が押し込みネットを揺らしたが、オフサイドに…。

　70分にはドリブル突破した戸田がファールで倒され、エリアすぐ手前からのFKを得る。このペナルティアーク左横からのFKを、ササが強烈なキックで狙ったが、相手GK西川の鋭い反応でセーブされ、CKに。完全にペースは東京のものとなったが、ビッグチャンスを逃し、どうしてもゴールを割ることができない。

　80分には梶山に代えて三浦を、82分には栗澤に代えて馬場を投入。終盤はカウンターの応酬となったが、87分、速いパスワークで阿部吉→馬場とつなぎ、加地がクロス。ササのヘッドで左CKを奪う。馬場の蹴ったキックに、ジャーンがどんぴしゃのタイミングであわせるが、惜しくも枠の上に。大分の攻撃はよく防ぎ、ロスタイムには早いリスタートから戸田がゴール前に飛び出し、GKと1対1になるがまたもやシュートはGK西川に阻まれ、タイムアップ。チャンスをつくりながらも、またもや決定力不足は解消できず。2試合連続の無得点でスコアレスドローに終わった。

　【選手コメント】《土肥》「(ナイスセーブがあったが？)90分の中では、攻める場面も守る場面もある。DFラインが崩れたとも思っていない。それよりも課題は一つひとつのプレーにある。ボールを取られたら、取られたままで終わり…というようなことが多い。途中出場の阿部吉のように、取られても奪い返しにいくような気持ちが必要だと思う。残り『9試合ある』と考えるより『9試合しかない』という気持ちで、1試合1試合を大切に戦わなければいけない」《ジャーン》「非常に難しい試合だった。初めは大分の方にチャンスがあって苦しかったが、最後は東京にもチャンスがあった。引き分けと言う結果は悪くなかったと思う。(3試合連続完封で)無失点に抑えることは大切だし、チームにとっても自分にとっても良いこと。あとは点数を取って勝つことが必要。(ブラジルDayだったが)残念ながらブラジル人は自分1人だったが、自分と日本人のみんなとパラグアイ人のササで頑張った。が、勝てなくて残念。ただ今日はブラジル人の方がたくさん応援に来てくれて、本当にブラジルでいるような雰囲気だった。ブラジル人の皆さんはもちろん、いつもの日本のサポーターの皆さんも喜んでくれたようで感謝している」

　【原監督の会見要旨】「前節負傷したルーカスは、幸いにもすでに練習は出来ているが、試合にはまだ出られない。そのポジションでササを使おうと1週間練習してきた。石川が抜けたこともあり、あまり形はいじりたくなかったので、同じシステムでやろうとしたが、前半はそれが機能しなかった。ササが孤立することもあり、周りも、良い悪いは別にしてササとルーカスの違いに戸惑っていた。その中で、大分のMFエジミウソンやトゥーリオらにボールをつながれた。失点はしなかったが危ない場面は、特に前半に何回かあった。土肥がうまく防いでくれたが、良い守備ができず、バタバタしていることが攻撃面にも出てしまった。ボールを奪っても、いつものリズムが出なかった。ハーフタイムには『もう一度前からボールを追っていこう』と指示をしたが、あまり変わらないので、戸田を中央に持っていき、ササとの2トップにした。戸田をスペースに飛び出させてササのサポートをさせることを狙った。阿部吉も入れて我々のリズムになりかけた。オフサイドにはなったが、右からのクロスで崩したような形が得点になれば良かったのだが…。前半の出来が良くなかったことを考えれば、後半よく立て直せた。最後は馬場を入れてセットプレーからの得点も狙ったが、押し込めなかった。本当に勝ちたかったが、危ない場面でも身体を張って守って、失点0に抑えたられたことは良かった。この守備の上にササをうまく機能させて点を取らなければいけない。危ないながら全員が良く踏んばったが、その上でもっとシュートを打たないといけない。シュートが少なすぎた。今日の試合は大事だと言い過ぎて力が入ってしまったかもしれないが、これからも重要な試合が続く。良い練習をして、1試合1試合良い戦いをしていきたい」

　【大分・シャムスカ監督の会見要旨】「今日はとても難しい試合だった。前半は大分ペースで、チャンスはあったが決めることができなかった。後半もチャンスはつくったが、FC東京がより多くのチャンスをつくって、ペースを握っていた。もちろん勝ちたかったが、少なくとも『絶対に負けてはいけない』ということを選手には意識させた。勝利のために1週間がんばってきて、残念ながら勝ち点3を得ることはできなかったが、難しい試合で勝ち点1を取ることができ、順位も下がることはなかった。ただ前の2試合に比べると、攻撃面でよくなかった。そこを意識して練習していきたい。(前半と後半で内容が変わったが？)後半はFC東京が攻撃に出てきた。加地選手やボランチの選手がトップに近づきプレーしてきた。FC東京がよくなったからと考える」

TOKYO Fight Back To No Avail 

The home side started the second period strongly. In the 51st. minute Toda burst onto a through ball inside the area and shaped to shoot before being blocked; Kurisawa moved the ball on to Sasa who failed to make a clean connection. Kurisawa crossed to Sasa in the 55th. minute but a defender's dangerously raised foot foiled the TOKYO striker. Another cross from Kurisawa evaded the onrushing forwards in the 57th. minute. Toda then failed to reach Suzuki's cross from the left as TOKYO struggled with their timing. 
Abe replaced Suzuki in the 62nd. minute. In the 64th. minute Kaji blew past a defender and raced into the area but some sharp defending forced TOKYO to settle for a throw in. In the 65th. minute Abe found Kurisawa on the right but once again the final ball sailed past the onrushing Toda and Sasa and into Nishikawa's hands. TOKYO had the ball in the net in the 68th. minute as Abe belted Toda's knockdown past the Trinita keeper but the referee's assistant flagged for offside. 
Toda was flattened just outside the Trinita area in the 70th. minute as he attempted to dribble his way through. Sasa lined up his kick and cleared the wall with a well-struck effort only for Nishikawa to produce a fine save and tip the ball over the bar. TOKYO were firmly in the driver's seat but were unable to make the breakthrough. 
Manager Hara played his final cards, sending on Miura for Kajiyama and Baba for Kurisawa. The final few minutes saw several counter attacks that nearly decided the game. In the 87th. minute some neat interplay between Abe and Miura set up Kaji for a cross; Sasa made contact with a firm header and earned a corner. Baba swung the corner in and Jean, towering over the Trinita defence, met the ball squarely on his forehead but directed it over the bar. TOKYO held off Trinita's attack and nearly stole the points with the last kick of the match. A sharply taken free kick was rolled through to Toda, onside, in the area. Nishikawa raced off his line and spread himself, smothering Toda's shot. The final whistle blew immediately and, despite creating a hatful of chances, TOKYO had to settle for a scoreless draw for the second consecutive game. 


Players' comments 
Doi: 
"Over the 90 minutes we attacked and were forced to defend but they didn't really overwhelm us at all. When we lost the ball we didn't go all out to win it back again; we have to be more like Abe. When he loses the ball he really fights to win it back immediately. We need more of that spirit. We have to see it as "There are only 9 games left", rather than "There are 9 more games". We have to take each game on its merits and do our best". 

Jean: 
"That was a very tough game. Oita had their chances in the first half but we fought back and made several of our own in the second. A draw wasn't a bad result overall. We've kept three consecutive clean sheets now and that's good for the team and me personally. We just need to start scoring a few goals. Yes, it was Brazil Day but I was the only Brazilian out there. Myself, the Japanese players and Paraguayan Sasa all did our best but unfortunately we couldn't get the win. A lot of Brazilian fans came out to support us today and the atmosphere was just like being back home. I'd like to thank them and all of the regular supporters". 


F.C.TOKYO manager Hara: 
"Happily Lucas is back in training after his terrible injury last week but he can't play in the games yet. We practiced all week with Sasa in his position. Ishikawa is missing too and we didn't want to tinker too much so we kept the same system but it didn't really work in the first half. Sasa was isolated and the players around him were a little bewildered by the differences between his game and Lucas'. Oita's midfielders Tulio and Edmilson were able to move the ball around. We didn't concede but there were a few hairy moments, particularly in the first half. Doi played well but we didn't defend too well and that transmitted itself to the attack. Even if we won the ball we couldn't find our rhythm. We didn't change things at half time; I just told the players to push forward more in chasing the ball and moved Toda alongside Sasa in attack. We wanted to let Toda break into space and support Sasa. And when Abe went on we found our rhythm at last. The goal was disallowed but that move from the right completely opened up their defence. Considering the quality of the first half I think we put things right very well in the second half. And then when Baba went on we were hoping to make something from set plays. Obviously we wanted the three points and there were a few difficult moments but we defended well overall. We're pleased with another clean sheet. We have to find away to get the best out of Sasa and we're just not shooting enough at the moment. Maybe we over-emphasised the importance of today's game but the big games are coming thick and fast now; we'll work hard in training and take each one as it comes". 

Trinita manager Chamusca: 
"That was a very hard game. The first half was played at our pace but we didn't take our chances and then TOKYO fought back in the second half. We wanted to win, of course, but at the least the players were very focused on not losing. We worked hard for a week preparing for this game; it's disappointing not to win but at least we earned a point from a tough game and didn't fall any further down the table. Compared to the last two games though our attack wasn't as good today and that's something we'll have to work on in training. TOKYO improved in the second half because Kaji and the defensive midfielder pushed further forward".
